Carving Pumpkins!
Carving pumpkins is such a fun Halloween tradition. It makes me happy. Since Aydan is still a little too young to do too much carving, I bought him pumpkin pokes. I saw them at Walmart and thought they would be perfect for him to do. They are just like a Mr. Potato Head sort of thing. He had a little trouble poking them into the pumpkin (the skins are kind of tough) but mommy helped him make holes. Once I made holes he did really well at putting the eyes, ears, and ext. in. I of course told him where to put them, it was a nice little game. What a fun idea for the itty bitty's!
Our carved pumpkins turned out pretty well. I gave up on mine, because if I went any further they were going to break and fall apart. Justin however, made his pumpkin into some weird cyclops face. He! He! Jenny's turned out really well. She did the really cute face. I claim the kitty cat, and the dancing ghosts.
Oh....! Aydan was playing with a black cat today. How Halloween is that? Hopefully he won't have any bad luck!
