brothers???

Which one's which??

(Traceon on top, Aydan at bottom)

Ha! Ha! You can probably tell! Better camera quality with Traceon than with Aydan! I took Aydan's pics when he was 5 months, they turned out so well that I promised myself that I would take pics of our other kids. Same age, same background, same look. They are the same age in these pics.
Proof that our boys look a lot alike! Same nose. Same eye shape. Same hair. Same round little face. How I do love these two! How fun is being a mom...well just look at these pics!

Here's a collage I put together of the pics I took of Traceon at 5 months!

Happy Earth Day!

Yay for Earth Day!!

So I saw this recipe on one of my YUMO blogs and decided that we would make them! I go on walks a lot...around the town, to the library, to the park, you know around, and I always take a plastic bag and pick up any trash that I see along the way. My plan was to make earth cupcakes, take them on a picnic, and teach Aydan that's it's a good idea to help keep the earth clean by picking up trash that's where it's not supposed to be....Well my plan was partially ruied! It's rainy and cold outside...and I'm not about to be all soggy just so I can teach a lesson that can be taught on any nice day! So we rented a movie instead...Planet 51...to better apprieciate OUR PLANET...EARTH! Ha! Ha!

Here we are scooping green (for land) and blue (for water) batter into the pan to make beautiful "earth" cupcakes!

Pretty cool huh?

Of course you got to taste the batter to make sure it's yummy!!

Approved...definatly yummy!!

Yumo licks of oh so deliciousness!!

Here they are fresh out of the oven! Oh they turned out awesome!

The inside...

Hey I had to put swirly mountain of "cloud" frosting on top!

Take care of the Earth people...or one day it may look like this....!!!

Ha! Ha! I love being a SAHM!!!

Happy Earth Day Everybody!!

Our Busy Weekend!!

Whew! We had quite the weekend! As you all know we flew to Portland, Oregon for my mom's wedding! It was a wonderful weekend...enjoy while you get a sneak peek!

We drove to Tooele, Utah Thursday night after Justin got out of class at about 9:00p.m. We stayed the night at Justin's older brother Derrick's house, because we had an early morning flight at 8 to catch! We got into Portland about 9 in the morning there. We went shoe shopping then to the Oregon ZOO! This zoo was huge! It was pretty fun, and really nice weather!

Aydan with some penguins!

Traceon in his carseat...strollin'!

Hangin' out with dad in the snuggly!

Lioness...

Aydan looking through the "noclars" with Papa Dennis!

Aydan got a kick out of running up and down the stairs...

Rhino!!

The zoo was awesome and I took a lot more pics, but you all get the jist of the zoo...it has animals!
*******************************************************************************
After the zoo we went back to my mom's house and hung out. My sister Melanie got started on some cupcakes for the wedding, while we took the boys to a nearby park!

I had to take a pic of this giant tree!

Aydan sliding down the slide!

Tire swing!

After dinner we went swimming!

It was the first time for the little guy! Here he is sporting his new suit!

Daddy and Aydan!

Daddy and Traceon!

Me and the boys!

Traceon and his mommy!

****************************************************************************
Saturday morning we got up and went to the Saturday Market down on the waterfront! It was pretty interesting seeing all the different things people make to sell!

Like these!

****************************************************************************
Then it was time for the wedding! They picked just the cuteset little wine bistro off the water to get married in! The ceremony was very intimate, only 15 people were there. Just close family...perfect! Their Pastor was awesome and so passionate! It was wonderful!

Here is a colage of pics I took of their day!
(Click on it,so it becomes bigger, so you can get a closer look!)

The view outside the bistro!

Family pics!!

We had fondue for dessert...and Melanie's delicious cupcakes...which were so dang cute!

*****************************************************************************
Sunday morning we woke up and went a little outside of Portland to the Tulip Festival! It was so amazing! There were rows and rows of different tulips! It was amazing! It smelled to wonderful!

There was a ton of stuff to do while we were there! They had bouncing toys for the kids, rides, old tractors, tuplips, food, crafts, it was awesome! It was such a beautiful day too!

Aydan sliding down a slide and bouncing in a bounce toy!

We had a great weekend and are so happy for my mom and Dennis! Thanks so much for sharing your day with us!

Easter, Our Amazing Children, and Spring Break!

Caution: This is a really long post! I finally got some time to actually blog, and I have a lot to share!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Easter! I don't know about you but it makes me feel incredible to have such a Savior to worship, and I am astounded everyday by the everlasting love he has shown me! He has risen indeed!

Aydan and I dyed Easter Eggs one day while Traceon was sleeping! It was fun and it's always a great time when you're being creative!

Here's Aydan putting the eggs into the cups of colorful dye!

Now we just have to wait for them to take to the color!!

We decided to not only put tattoos on the pretty eggs, but on ourselves too! (I had all kinds of little Easter pics up and down my legs, courtesy to Aydan!)

The wonderful work....

Taking a moment to admire....

EGG HUNT!

Before we get to into the next chapter of my ever so long post, let me share with you the conversation Aydan and I had about the Easter Bunny.....

Me: "Aydan, it's time to set out your Easter baskets for the Easter Bunny!"
Aydan: "Who's the Easter Bunny?"
Then I go and get the Easter Bunny book....we read it as Aydan sits quietly through the whole story. After the book was read...the questioning began...
Aydan: "Why is there an Easter Bunny?"
Me: "Because it's such a special day to share, that he wanted to make it extra special for all the good little boys and girls all over the world!"
Aydan: "Why?"
Me: "Because he helps us to remember the love that Jesus showed, and that we should share the same love to others."
Aydan: "Jesus love me!"
Me: "Yes, but he also loves everybody."
Aydan: "Where does the Easter Bunny live?"
Me: "In a burrow under a great big tree."
Aydan: "Why?"
Me: "Because that's where all of his little bunny friends and him get ready for Easter, by getting candies and goodies packed up to deliver to all the good little boys and girls."
Aydan: "Does Kylar get candy too?"
Me: "Of course and Dillon, Braxton, Tommie, Cru, and Traceon all do to!" "Now let's set all of your eggs out and yours and Traceon's Easter baskets, so that the Easter Bunny will be able to find them. He's going to put yummy treats and special things in them, then hide them so you can look for them in the morning when you wake up!"
Aydan: " Does the Easter Bunny come in my room?"
Me: "Well he's got to make sure you're sleeping like a good little boy!"
Aydan: "Is he going to scare me?"
Me: "No way! The Easter Bunny is gentle and loves you! He's here to fill your basket and hide it for you!"
Aydan: "Why?"
Me: "Because it's Easter tomorrow! Now we need to get a couple of carrots out, so the Easter Bunny has something to snack on while he's hiding your basket!"

That was it....the selling point! After the carrots Aydan believed and stopped questioning the situation! He set out the Easter baskets and eggs, along with the carrots every so carefully, telling me that the Easter Bunny will be hungry so he needs to eat carrots!

Oh the joys of kids!!

Mind you...this is at about 7:30a.m. Easter morning!
Aydan spotted eggs right away, and really got into egg hunting!

Eggs!

Looking....

Found....

The Easter Baskets took a little longer to find...that sneaky bunny! Aydan found Traceon's in mom and dad's room, and then....he saw a glimpse of his basket!

Aydan opened the dryer door and said, "That silly Easter Bunny!" "He hid my basket where you do laudry!?" HOW CUTE!!!!!!

The Easter Bunny brought Aydan a new SOCCER BALL to kick around the summer along with a cool water bottle, a colared shirt, and tons of CANDY!

Showing off the goods!

Ahhh our little Tra Tra...so cute! Happy 1st Easter baby!! The Easter Bunny brought Traceon a cute floor/crib toy, abc eggs, teething rings, and a super cute romper for this summer!

We also went to Grandma and Grandpa Snyder's house where Aunt Melanie and the grandparents each had gifts for the boys! So sweet!
What an excellent Easter!!!!

********************************************************************

Our Amazing Children!

It is so incredible to me how such tiny people can make you feel so wonderful!!

In the bath tub the other night Aydan drew faces for the first time! I was so amazed! I didn't tell him where to put anything...(noses, eyes, ears, ect.) He's so stinking smart!!! I think he did an awesome job!!

I'm still in a little bit of shock...looking back on these pics! What a kid!

Nothing better than a sleeping baby to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! So precious!

Here's some of Aydan's wardwrobe decisions he's been making....Ha! Ha! Makes me giggle!

This is one of Traceon's favorite things to do! He scoots himself under our dust ruffle on our bed, and plays with it like a cat! Silly!

***********************************************************************
Spring Break in Utah!!

I can't tell you how much fun we had down in Tooele, Utah! It was aweome!! The boys and I came down on Monday night and we stayed until Sunday! I felt like I brought our entire house with us!

Tuesday Justin tiled Derrick and Jess's kitchen backsplash... and it turned out...well...amazing! He also did the down stairs shower, and is planning on doing the upstairs shower at a later date! Way to go you tiling fool!

The two newest members Traceon and Braxton got to interact a little bit! It's going to be interesting when they are older because these boys are only 2 1/2 months apart....and we have another boy on the way (Garrett and Stephani's) and he will be 5 months younger than Braxton!!
Traceon is 4 months, and Braxton 2 months in this pic!

Here are the three older boys, Kylar, Dillon, and Aydan enjoying a popcicle on the back steps! They had a blast playing with eachother!

Traceon even got to go outside a little bit!! Smiley kid!

Buzz Lightyear....and....Spiderman....aka...Aydan and Dillon!

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
While we were in Utah we went out to eat at Tucano's, PF Changs, shopped a little at the Gateway, and went to Hoogle Zoo!

It was a little chilly the day we went to the zoo, but still a lot of fun! There were a lot of babies...baby elephant, baby giraffe, baby orangatang, and some baby Polson's....Ha! Ha!

Aydan and mom looking at some reptiles....I like the giant green snake in the background!

Giraffe!! They are soooo cool!

Traceon in his carseat...he did pretty good for being in it all dang day!

Aydan really like the displays where he could be really close to the animals!

Family pic before leaving the zoo!

Saturday night we got all the boys together for some pics!!
Youngest to oldest...Braxton 2 months, Traceon 4 months, Kylar 2, Aydan 3, and Dillon 4! We also have one more boy cuz on the way...he'll be here in June! Then Ky will have a little bro too!

All the boys....

Braxton had his blessing on Sunday! Here he is in his cute little outfit! So beautiful! Yes I can say beautiful when he looks like that!

We had an wonderful time and were spoiled severly! Thank you so much for your great hospitality and a kickin' time Derrick and Jess!
