Easter Weekend in Pindale!

Pindale, Wyoming is where my Grandma and Grandpa live. It is a beautiful country town that's looked upon by huge gorgious mountains. This year we decided to go to their house for Easter. As a kid that is where the Easter Bunny visited me! We left Friday and that night we had my Grandpa's famous smoked ribs! Yum! Yum! We also got to gaze at my Grandparent's new wildlife addition....their moose! It finally was up and hanging on their wall. He is huge and a very pretty black color. It's different than the mountain lion....but a lot cooler, because it's theirs!

Saturday morning we woke up and had french toast covered in cornflakes....once again..Yum! Yum! At ten o'clock we went to the town Easter Egg Hunt at one of the parks. It was a mad house! There were a ton of little kids! Of course the Easter Bunny was there! Aydan freaked out and thought we were giving him to the Easter Bunny! It's funny how things go...at age one...it's like... sure Santa I'll sit on your lap...or sure Easter Bunny you can hold me....at two years old...it's like get that thing away mom and dad! Funny!

There were so many kids there that Aydan didn't get very many chances to grab an egg or piece of candy up...so we had to be on the look out...and claim on fast! Once we found one, we had a couple anxious kids try and take it away but we kept it safe! Funny, funny little boy.....So after we found the first egg, Aydan opens it up with excitment and looks down into the open suprise and says, "Mom!" "It's money.....!?" in the most disappointed, confused, and hurt voice EVER! He threw the worthless quarter down and put the cutest punk face on! PICUTRE TO PROVE IT! I think I stressed that there would be candy in the eggs too much. Justin and I laughed forever! What a great memory and story!
YAY! I found and egg!

On my way to find more!

Maybe I'll just open it, and see if there really is candy in it!

PUNK FACE!! (My newest favorite picture!) We eventully found some candy...then I think he thought we weren't lying to him anymore!

So this time of year is the time of year in which little baby calves are born! Many of my Easter weekend in Pinedale memories is watching my Grandpa deliver calves or perform c-sections on cows! (He is a Vet! How lucky am I?) Anyway...we got the chance to feed a bum calf. ( A bum calf is a calf that does not have a mommy...due to her dying after giving birth. Bum calves are bottle fed until a mommy cow that had a calf that didn't make it comes along. Sometimes the mommies will take the bum calves to replace their baby that didn't make it.)

This stinkin' cat was so friendly! She got right up in your face!

Here's me helping Aydan feed the baby calf. He was so friendly too, and was really hungry!

Poor guy! He looks so sad without his mommy!

My boys being cowboys! He! He! It was fun to share a little bit of what my memories are from staying with my grandparents with my boys! And it's always fun to get a little dirty too!

This is the Wind River Range and what my grandparents look out at from their front window almost everyday! B..E...A...UTIFUL!!!!
Here's Aydan Mychal Easter morning! The Easter Bunny left 42 eggs for Aydan to find! They were all over Grandpa and Grandma's house!

Looking...Looking...here's one!

So excited! Probably on a sugar high by now also!

Here's some more!

Look the Easter Bunny hid my basket behind the TV! How silly is he?

Look at what he brought me! Bubbles, sidewalk chalk, candy, and a cute stuffed bunny!

Happy Easter! Thank you so much for a wonderful Easter weekend Grandpa and Grandma! Love You! It's a wonderful holiday to share with the ones we love! To everyone we didn't get to see...you were not too far away from our minds! We are so incrediably blessed to have you in our lives! We love you!
