CAUTION: PARTY ZONE!!

We decided to throw a CONSTRUCTION BIRTHDAY PARTY for Aydan this year!

Here's the invite!



We had everybody over for pizza, root beer floats, and some birthday cake!!


Speaking of the cake....yes I made it with the help of my brilliant sister. We decorated it the day of the party and it took ALL DAY! I wasn't feeling very well at all...(I really wanted to be laying down all day), and we got to talking, instead of decorating. But, I was very happy with the way it turned out.

It's a pretty good DUMP TRUCK cake, I would say!


I also got some construction hats for PARTY HATS! They were pretty cute!

Here's Aydan opening some BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!! He got some really cool stuff...I think his favorite by a long shot was the playdough kit that made hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, fries, and everything else that coorilated with that, from Aunt Melanie! He has been playing with that for hours! He also got some cute books, puzzle books, games, a T-Ball set, a woody doll, cars, and I'm sure I'm leaving some stuff out!

We had a great time throwing a party! It was fun having everybody over at our house! Aydan had a blast with all of his cousins! (Side note: He kept asking me if Dillon was going to come to his birthday party, and that if he did, he could have some birthday cake and root beer. He misses you Dillon!)

Fun fact about Aydan's 3rd birthday that I will never forget is: He treated his birthday as if it was a holiday. When someone said, "Happy Birthday Aydan!" He would say it right back, just like if you were to say Merry Christmas...you usually say it back! How funny and cute huh?
