So I saw this recipe on one of my YUMO blogs and decided that we would make them! I go on walks a lot...around the town, to the library, to the park, you know around, and I always take a plastic bag and pick up any trash that I see along the way. My plan was to make earth cupcakes, take them on a picnic, and teach Aydan that's it's a good idea to help keep the earth clean by picking up trash that's where it's not supposed to be....Well my plan was partially ruied! It's rainy and cold outside...and I'm not about to be all soggy just so I can teach a lesson that can be taught on any nice day! So we rented a movie instead...Planet 51...to better apprieciate OUR PLANET...EARTH! Ha! Ha!
Here we are scooping green (for land) and blue (for water) batter into the pan to make beautiful "earth" cupcakes!

Of course you got to taste the batter to make sure it's yummy!!

Cute idea! Yeah my Earth Day plans were kinda spoiled by the weather too! I was going to take Ky to get some flowers and we were going to plant them outside somewhere in the yard. Oh well. I guess we could always do it another day when it's nice since the kiddos don't know the difference!:)
