BOISE!

Last Tuesday throughThursday...we'll actually through Friday...yes there's a story there, we went to Boise!
Justin hung out with his friends and went to a CONCERT! The boys and I hung out with my sister, Melanie!
While we were there we went to several parks, even a WATER PARK!

Here's the story of our vist to Boise, Idaho....

Tuesday Melanie and I took the boys to a park near the BSU campus! They both swung in the swings for like 45 minutes! They were mesmerized by the gentle swaying of the swings! It was so cute...but I forgot my camera for that event! :( Then we got Jimmy John sandwhichs' and some movies, and headed back to Melanie's house to hang!
Wednesday we got up and went shopping to a couple of Melanie's favorite stores. I found some really cool stuff for the boys TOY ROOM, and a SWEET picture to go over our fireplace! They were both at great prices! Yay!
After shopping we went and got a pizza and then we went to ROARING SPRINGS water park!
It was awesome and so much fun! Both kids LOVED the water! Aydan had such a blast going down the slides, splashing in the water, and hanging out in a tube!
Oh...here is my new found love...DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING!
I did some pages of our trip to the water park...
What do you think?
(You can click on them so that you can get a better look!)

Here is Aydan's butt crack hanging out! This swim suit was a little big in the waste!
Here is Aydan and I sliding down one of the slides!
Enjoying the sun with my sons....
Between the water and all the sunscreen, Traceon's hair went all curly! How sweet!
The poor little guy had to take a break for a quick nap!
We also went to Settler's Park. It was a huge playground that had water shooting out of the ground and pouring from the top of the toys!
This is Mitch Slayden helping Aydan out!
Mitch and Justin. Mitch is one of Justin's really good friends and this is who he went to the concert with!
Cute Kid!
Justin went to the
Rock Star Mayham Festival
to see one of his favorite bands 'Lamb of God'.
Rob Zombie, Korn, and some other really good bands were there too!
Here he is in his SHIRT!
The guy on the right is the lead singer of 'Lamb of God'!
They had guys on motorbikes doing tricks while the concert went on!
Here is the main stage of all three that were there!
Justin was up front of course!
(I snagged all these pics from Mitch, by the way!)
And now to the MAIN EVENT of our trip!
We broke down between Wendell and Jerome on the way home!
Aydan had to pee so bad that he was bawling so we pulled over, and as soon as we stopped, the truck did too!
It was about 9 o'clock at night and we called my dad to come rescue us, but we were feeling a little uneasy on the side of the highway as huge semi's were screaming passed us! So we called a tow guy to come tow us to Jerome where it was much safer for us to hang while we waited for my dad to come!
It was midnight before my dad, Jerri, and Audree got to Jerome, so we decided to stay the night in a hotel!
The hotel was a little scary. It looked like the ones in all the horror movies where everyone gets murdered!
It was greatly needed though...if we would've towed that night, we wouldn't have gotten home until like 5 in the morning!
Us being towed!
Morning faces!
Here's Trace all wrapped up in the bedspread on the bed. I didn't want him crawling all over the floor...eeewwee....so we kept him on the bed or held him! I thought it was pretty cute though!
So we got up went over to the parked broken down truck...turned it over...and it started! My dad drove it all the way home! It was so funny, we were a little caravan!
What do you know...maybe we needed a little FAMILY VACATION in Jerome!
Funny! And it will make a great memory one day!

Sorry. Can't edit once it's posted, the stupid thing!

Anyway, that trip looks like fun. Your scrapbook pages are cute! It's addicting, huh?

We had a incident on the side of the road like that too! It was Memorial Day last year and our truck broke down near Gooding (maybe it's just that area...) We had to have Clint's parents come tow us and we didn't get home until like 2 am. Should have stayed the night like you! It sucks at the time but it's funny to look back on now, just like you said!
