15 days with Daddy!

While Justin was here, we did as much as we could! It was the fastest 2 weeks ever!
Justin really spoiled us while he was here. I think he really missed out on all that jazz...so he made it worth while, while he was here.
He really had the urge to work with his hands. You know doing "manly" sort of things. He bought a grill, and put it together. He also put new tires on our truck and fixed the garbage can owie on the front end. Honey Do #1. And some more "honey do's" I had for him.

This is him and the boys putting the grill together in the garage.

The boys scored some new toys, and played with them with daddy.

Daddy did a lot of silly things with the boys, including this...

Aydan had a soccer game, and Justin had to give him some encouragment. I honestly don't think Aydan really liked soccer. Oh well...at least he got some excersize in!

We went to my Aunt Keri's birthday party while Justin was here. She just turned 30...and was born in the 80's, so they had a big "80's" blow out party. It was so much fun, and everybody looked awesome!
Me and the hubby livin' it up 80's style!

Keri and Dan.
(Keri's the birthday girl.)

My dad and step mom.

Lisa and my step mom Jerri.

Lisa and Gregg.

Ummm...yeah they totally had an 80's sound track going...and posters...of Tom Cruz...Top Gun...ya know...

Lisa and one of Keri's friends (I think her outfit was the bomb!)

Some of the peeps that were there...

Me and the husband again...

We went out to Gpa Polson's and rode his 4 wheeler around, and flew kites.

Trace gave daddy lots of kisses while he was here...he needed to stock up!

On the drive home, it was so clear and beautiful out, that we could see the Teton peeks!

We hung a flag the Monday after Bin Landen was found and killed. We thought it was appropriate.

I'm very paranoid of our front driveway and cars driving way to fast while my little one's are out there playing....so I found this guy...and the cars now seem to pay a little more attention. ; )

So you know how I have a fear of birds...and my grandparents chopped down the bush that some of the nasties were living in...well the ugly green, over grown, bird poop infested bush had to go as well.
Honey Do # 2

These 2 bushes were beastly...I tell ya!

$20 in bark later....ahhhh much better...all it needs is some flowers!

These 2 geeks had a blast playing outside while it was nice, and while we worked on the bush!

Daddy using his new grill! We called this his Father's Day present!

ALL the boys had a grand ol' time playing...like boys!

One day we went to the movie theater to see RIO.
Yes, it's about birds, and no, it didn't freak me out. It was cute!

We went to Home Depot...and basically messed around. We got some buckets, and a shovel, and some bark.

I want to plant some of these...they're probably one of my favorites! LILY'S!

We watched a movie downstairs together for the first time in a very long time...and fell asleep...like we always do!

Another day we went out to eat at Friday's, and took lots of silly pics...

Then after that we went to Sportsman's Warehouse, and messed around some more, while daddy fantasized...

I like fake birds....

Justin sometimes complains of having a symptom called "Monkey Butt", and I've never understood what he was talking about. Well at Sportsman's...they have something to cure it...so it must be real.

Justin's oldest brother Derrick and his family came down for a couple of days while Justin was here. So we had much more 4 wheeling to do...
Dillon, Justin, Traceon, and Aydan!

All the nephews got lots of loves from Uncle Justin!
Braxton and Justin.

The 2 older boys were bored, so I came up with a scavenger hunt for them. They were so cute, treckin'!

In the middle of their hunt, they spotted a bunny!

They found everything on the list!

Jen and I found these old roller skates in the garage, and I felt the need to slap them on, and ROLL...

Aydan had a soccer game, and lots of family came to watch him! It was so fun for him, and afterwards we went to Leo's Place for dinner!

The Polson family had pictures on Saturday, and we all got dolled up. Here are some pics of us in the truck on the way to the studio.

After pics, we went out to eat at Red Robin. There were 17 of us, and it was crazy! Here are some fun pics of our lunch together!
Aydan and Jennifer.

Me and the husband!

Justin's step sister Alexa, and step brother, Tanner.

Aydan and Gpa Polson.

Collin!

Justin's oldest brother Derrick, and his wife, Jessica.

Dillon and Derrick.

Gma and Gpa Polson.

Justin's older brother Garrett, and his son Kylar, and his wife, Stephani.

Traceon chowed down on some salad!

We went to our house and the boys played dress up...and really got into character, I might add!
Aydan, the cowboy!

Dillon, the Knight.

Justin playing with the older boys....cute huh?

Justin and Garrett got some pool in....
Later we went out to Gpa Polson's and played video games, and played with the little boys!
The 3 older ones playing a video game...
Mother's Day was fun, not only because I have the best kids ever, but because Justin was here to celebrate it with us! The boys got me a CRICUT! I'm so excited to use it! I wasn't feeling very well all day, but I had a wonderful Mother's Day 2011!

That night my family came over and cooked dinner at our house! It was so yummy! The boys wanted to help make the mashed potatoes, so they pulled some "step stools" up. I love what Trace picked to stand on. He is getting so big so fast! He went to the toy room and dragged that toy all the way out to the kitchen by himself! So smart...and what a great problem solver!

Justin left early Tuesday morning. I didn't take many pictures the rest of the time he was here, because I was so dang sick, and just layed around! He left before the boys woke up, and it about killed me to watch Justin kiss them, as tears rolled down his cheeks onto theirs. I felt as if I couldn't breathe anymore. I miss having my best friend around. I miss him fathering our children. I miss team Jusam (that's what I call us, it's our name's squished together) I miss being a family. I know though, that this hole in my heart is only temporary, and will be filled soon.
We really needed him to come home. I think we both feel rejuvenated and ready to push through these last few months of his deployment. It is annoying, and we are ready to be a normal family again, and be back doing normal family activities! I feel so bad for Justin right now. He is completely miserable. I think seeing the boys, and how much they've change, and how much he's missed out on, really upset him. But, it's almost over, and I'm thankful that they ending months are during my favorite time of year, SUMMER! Bring on the sun, and all the fun that comes with it! Let's ROCK these next 4 months out!

Love Love this post. Those goofy pictures you guys took are hilarious:) It was so much fun to see you guys, and thanks for sharing Justin with us it's always so much fun to see the brothers together too.
You and Justin are so dang cute together, I love the jusam...so cute! I can't even begin to understand how hard this has been on you and the family, but in a way I am a little envious in the fact that the time you and Justin spend together is true quality time. You don't let the little things get to you and you just enjoy each other. Most people just get annoyed at their spouse for dumb things (I'm at fault)and forget to appreciate what they really mean to us. Just seeing you and Justin together you guys really do appreciate and love each other and it's so good to see that! We love you guys and hope we can get you down to Tooele before too long! Keep Smiling:)
