2 Very Cute Boys, and their Summer So Far...

This summer has been a blast!

 The boys have been busy doing all kinds of activities!

We do random playing at our house, and have also been going to the library. I signed the kids up for the summer reading program at the library and Aydan has a goal of reading 2 books by himself a week, and Trace's goal is to read with mommy for 20 mins every day! They have received great prizes, and I'm super proud of Aydan for reading so well! Reading before Kindergarten is fantastic!

In the month of June we also went to Cloverdale Elementary School most weekdays for free lunch and some play time on the play ground! The boys loved that! I didn't take any pics of it, but it was fun to watch them with the little trays the lunch lady's gave them!

I let them pick out some cookie cutters for a science experiment we did....

We put a bar of Ivory soap into the microwave for a couple of minutes!

And it comes out like this....fluffy, soft, and they molded it into different shapes!

Bath time was super fun that night!

I HAD to document this....

Trace has been whippin' around on his trike this summer, trying to keep up with big brother, and his toes have taken a beating because of it!

Bloody and dirty...

And the shoes....he's completely worn out to toes of them!

He's a pretty cute kiddo. I laugh because he has quite the personality! He is so personable and fun, and can giggle about anything, but you never know when you're going to get jabbed in the eye, or have a toy thrown at you by this little turd! I'm hoping he grows out of this...
This is by far my favorite face...I love them dimples!

This is the turd side coming out....good thing they make 2 year olds cute, or else I would hide in the closet most days!

We have been to several parks about 100 times (no joke!)

All my monkey boys!

I don't know if anyone knows this....but when you can do the monkey bars all by yourself with no help, it's A BIG DEAL! (Especially if it's our 5 year old boy!)

The boys have been playing in the water outside a lot!

Whew...a busy, full summer packed with activities mean sweaty little boys! They have been taking a lot of  SHOWERS! Somehow they're a lot "cooler" than baths....
