Our Halloween was great!
We had lots of fun, and did lots of fun activities!
We had lots of fun, and did lots of fun activities!
Here is a collage of some of the things we did to count down until Halloween!
We made a countdown witch, and her hair was the countdown chain. Every day one of the boy's would take a chain off.

We played with Boo the Ghost and his buddies! We did a little Scavenger Hunt with the boys, included with rhyming clues!
The game was to help Boo find all of his buddies!
And then the last clue led them to some fun Halloween treats!
We went to Aydan's school's Halloween Carnival. Aunt Melanie and Grandma and Grandpa Snyder came! Daddy had to work : (
Aydan tossing bean bags into the pumpkin!
Stackin' Halloween cups!
Mini golf! Trace is behind Aydan!
Traceon doing the Witch's Pitch!
Bat Bowling!
Another night we carved pumpkins!
Sadly we did not get to go the the cool pumpkin patch like we have in past years. Daddy has just been too busy, and we didn't want to go without him, then it snowed, and we didn't want to go in the snow. So we just picked some out at the store, and carved them up at Gpa Snyder's house. Daddy had to write a paper and do an online test that night, and needed peace and quite, so mommy thought it was a good idea to hang somewhere else. ; )
The boys really like scooping out the pumpkin guts, but Mom and Aunt Melanie carved them!
Traceon's is on the left and Aydan's on the right. They both picked out their own picture to be carved!
After pumpkin carving, we watched "Hocus Pocus" in the movie theater downstairs!
Another fun activity was MAKING MONSTER BOXES!
Daddy brought them home from work, for him and the boy's to do together! They are cute little kits. Funny thing is that Justin has been doing a tile job, and left all of his tools at the house he's working at, so we had to improvise a hammer with a hatchet.....
Yes he's busy....school, working all weekend at Lowe's, and doing a tile job on the side!
The boy's were super excited about these boxes, and LOVE them. They keep all of their little treasures inside!
Here they are building away!
The finished products!
We of course went to Boo at the Zoo! We actually went the night before Halloween, and got there about 7:30pm..........which was perfect! Not crowded at all, dark enough to see all the cool decorations, and it was perfect fall weather! The boys had a blast, and Traceon really was enthralled with all of the Halloween decorations. He would stop and stare for a minute. It was pretty cute!
Superman and Batman!
Trick or Treat, Money or Eats!
Look a Monkey!
Aydan made a black cat craft in the craft tent!
We took a pic with a storm trooper! The boy's loved his light saber!
Cute boys!
Bean Bag Toss!
Our family at Boo at the Zoo!
I made Justin and I costumes. I hand drew a template, and then painted the skeleton pattern on! In my skeleton tummy is a Baby Lincoln skeleton! In Justin's skeleton tummy is potatoes, broccoli, and a turkey leg!
On Halloween Aydan wore his costume to school, and had a fun party in his classroom. They decorated cookies, and played games.
After he got home, we ate lunch, then I took them to the library! They were so cute! They wore their costumes there! The librarians put on a cute puppet show, and then sang a spooky song! My boys are so cute, and sat in the front. They were giggling, and are so well behaved. I'm glad I can take them places, and not have to worry about them being too scared, and not willing to be nice and polite!
After the library we went to Walmart really quick to get mini marshmallows for our "after trick or treating hot chocolate" and poor Trace got stung by a bee on the way in. Oh my! I had never heard him scream like that before, and he was super scared. Bee stings hurt!
After nap (which is why they're in their jams again) we decorated Halloween sugar cookies! The boys always love doing this, and I think it's because they get to eat yummy cookies with sprinkles!
Hard at work!
Traceon's finished cookies.....
Aydan's finished cookies.......
Then it was finally time to TRICK OR TREAT!
Batman and Superman were ready to go!
Cutest BATMAN EVER!
Stealthiest SUPERMAN EVER!
Here's us and our costume's!
We have a new neighbor, and so we decided to introduce ourselves, and give her a plate of our Halloween sugar cookies!
Then we went to our favorite neighborhood to trick or treat at! Stonebrook! All the houses are so cute, and decorated so fun!
It was a fun night!
Our family on Halloween night 2012!
Just some extra cute pics of our boys! They love dressing up as different characters and playing together! They have been playing a lot of "school" and "work".......hummm......wonder why?
Speaking of school and work, Justin is super busy, and claims he's never going to remember our little one's being, well, little. I said, well that's why I take pics dude! To prove that you did in fact actually get to do cute fatherly things, like read to them, in spite of being tremendously busy!
We're getting ready for Traceon's Birthday! I can't believe he's going to be 3!
