BACK TO THE DOC

I thought I would give everyone an update on A's head situation...so....Aydan had a doctor's appointment today with his pediatrician ( Dr. Bacon...that's what Aydan calls him) for the first time since his hematoma happened. I mostly made the appointment for our reassurance. Dr. Baker has been my doctor since I was little and now he is Aydan's. We love him...and are happy that he's willing to grow with our family in making sure everyone's ok, and healthy. Aydan's head was getting (sorry..kinda gross) lumpy around the patch of blood, which concerned us. Dr. Baker said that it was normal...and that is just the way hematoma's heal on the head. Apparently a calcium build up happens around the patch of blood, and will go away as soon as the blood disperses. Hence the weird lumpiness. After talking to Dr. Baker for awhile...he said, " Well being around Aydan for a couples minutes makes you understand why he might have a hematoma!" " He's not busy at all!" Everyone knows that TRUE! Dr. Baker also said that Aydan has eczema...a skin condition...from life! He said you will probably never know what is causing it...but one day Aydan's skin will grow out of it. Poor little GUY! He's had a rough month! He! He! : ) Good thing he's tough!
