Aydan's 1st Trip to the Theater....

Oh Man...I can't tell you how much fun we had last night!

We decided that Aydan-Bug is finally big enough to take to the movies, so we went! As you all know the very famous story by Charles Dickens, "A Christmas Carol", came to theaters this last Friday. There is nothing like a really good Christmas movie to get you in the Christmas spirit!

I prepped Aydan all day for going to the movies, and being a good boy while we were there, that by the time Justin got home from drill he was soooooo ready to go! We pulled up the theaters, and our wide eyed son was-i think in shock-! He stared and asked a million questions, and just took it all in. We were planning on going to the 3D one, but I looked at the 2D time instead...so it was off to see the movie in 2D! Aydan got to hand the tickets to the -ticket taker- and pick out his own candy. Being that it was the first time for the little guy...mom and dad went all out and bought popcorn and a blue raspberry slushy! Oh just the look on Aydan's face made the over priced treats all the better!

Now to the movie part-

We were a little apprehensive to whether or not Aydan would be scared of the movie (A Christmas Carol is pretty intense!) But....HE LOVED IT, and so did we! He was so cute throughout the movie, asking questions, and making observations like,

"That guy's mean. He's very angry!"

The movie was so action packed that it kept Aydan entertained and interested the whole entire hour and thirty-six minutes! He did have to stand, and sit in both of our laps at times....which is very understandable!

At the end of the movie, (when Scrooge becomes happy) Aydan turns to me and says,

"Mom, I like this movie, it's one of my favorites."

Ha! I love it! Those sweet moments, I will cherish forever! He also thanked us very graciously for taking him to the movies, then asked if we could go get something to eat....typical!

I love my little family! Sharing memories as we all grow together is one of the greatest gifts of life!
