Justin Mychal Polson has been ordered on a tour to Baghdad, Iraq, on the seventeenth of September, 2010. He will be gone from us for 13 months. Serving his duty.
I really dread talking about this...
But I realized something. This is Big! This is one of God's plans for Justin. With that said, I have faith, in my creator. God is good. So Good.
So overlook all the bad, and blind yourself with the good. Realize what kind of person your brother, son, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend, husband and father Justin is.
Such HONOR I have to be his wife. To go through this with him. For my children to have such an EXAMPLE. Such a LEADER. He will do many GREAT things in his lifetime.
So through all the tears you shed out of worry and fear, remember with me, that there IS a plan.
And, God is Good.
Pray for our Daddy. Bring him back safely to our home.

Sam, your post made me tear up! Justin is quite a guy. We have a lot of respect and love for him and his willingness to serve his country. It will be hard to have him gone that long, but like you said, what an honor! We are all very proud of him! We will of course keep him and your cute little family in our thoughts and prayers the entire time he is away and we are always here if you guys need anything at all! We love you!
From Garrett...Justin has always been unique in his character and countanance. I am grateful to be able to be a part of your family's life. I would desperately miss out on spending time with each of you. Thanks for overlooking our faults. I'm very proud to have a younger brother who is a loud voice among a crowd of people. We're always here for you.
What a hero he is, and what a hero you are for being such a strong mother and wife back at home.
That is quite a sacrifice yet SUCH an honor to serve our great country. You should be extremely proud of him. It is very cool and honestly it makes us proud to even know him. You guys will be in our prayers and thoughts.
WOW Sam what a positive attitude you have!! We are so PROUD of Justin and his sacrifice to serve our country and keep us safe. The experience may be hard, but it will be an experience of a lifetime!!
