So we had Justin's Encouragement Party!
Tons of friends and family showed up to show support to our soldier!

At the party I set up a little table with cards and pens, for people to write Justin a little encouragement note!
Everyone wrote some really beautiful things! If Justin is having a bad day over in Baghdad...he can just whip this out and it will remind him who love and care for him the most!
So thank you all who wrote to him!
These are pom poms...I've been wanting to do them for awhile...just needed a party! They were so cute, and cheap to make!
Here is all the food! My sister Melanie was a huge help and made the cupcakes...from scratch...for the party! We had pizza from Papa Murphy's, veggie and fruit trays, and salad to eat!

Just saying the words red, white, and blue.....makes you think of more words like bravery, honor, freedom, patrioism, hero, courage, strength, charisma....just to name a few!
So I went with that color sceme...seemed appropriate!

Over all it was an awesome party! Thank you all who came to support our daddy! He is such a hero to us, and is going to do so well over there! Be praying for him, and keep us in your thoughts! You guys are our support system! Love you all!

You did such a great job with the party! It was fun to get together with everyone to support Justin! He will be so missed but he will be back before we know it! Love you guys!
I shared the picture of Aydan and Justin with my golfing friend Traci and she has made it her background for her computer screen to remind her that her problems are small...but I think Justin should also take the view that he is lucky to have such a wonderful family that loves him & that will miss him...I'm sure there are some guys serving that don't have the love or the family missing them like he does...we need to remember to be thankful for what we do have and pray for those who aren't as blessed as we are. That's how I survive those hard days... I repeat a list of what is positive and true about me...I have 2 great kids who love me...I am healthy...I live in a great city...my golf score does not define me...learning is easy for me...I get to spend eternity in heaven...at least a couple hundred thousand women would trade me places straight across today no questions asked...and the ultimate fact is...I wouldn't trade any of these things with them...& suddenly I go from feeling bad to feeling like my cup overflows...the Lord really does LAVISH love on us!

The party turned out great. You did such a good job! And I absolutely LOVE the picture of Traceon and Kaylee makin' out!! That was seriously so funny!
We didn't get a chance to talk to Justin very much but just let him know how proud of him we are. We are here for you if you need anything at all!!!
WOW Sam!! I am impressed with all you did...I'm just very sad we were not their for the party, but I'm sooo glad we got to spend that week with you guys! Justin definatly has a lot of support from his friends and family. Please let me know if you need anything! BTW your pictures you took are absoultly amazing!! The ones with you and Justin are so darn cute!!
