Last weekend Gma Chris came for a quick weekend visit! It was great! Great Gpa and Gma Aultman came too! So we decided to go pick some good pumpkins out for carving at the
U-PICK PUMPKINS FARM!
Let me let you in on a little secret....GO....it's so dang cute!
U get to pick your pumpkins from a REAL pumpkin patch, ride around the patch in a little train, see farm animals, and a whole bunch more fun!
Our cute little guys hangin' by some pumpkins and hay stacks!
Yeah...there was way too much to look at to take a pic....
Isn't the little barn the cutest?!
Gma Chris and A-Bug!
Great Gma and Gpa Aultman!
The boys and I by the sweetest little train ever!
Aydan and I took a good long ride in that little train...and Aydan even knew that we were riding in the
CABOOSE!
SUNFLOWER!
See....we're in the caboose!
Great Gma Aultman and Traceon!
Great Gma Rosemary showing/telling Aydan about the chickens!
There was a cute little hay stack maze for the kiddos to run through...Aydan really liked this!
And this little guy just liked sitting next to this big ol' pumpkin!
He needed to taste it of course!
Look at that FACE!
The boys with all of our pumpkins(and gourd...I needed it...it was just too adorable to resist) eating yummy suckers! We got a daddy pumpkin, a mommy gourd, and two little boy pumpkin's, and Aydan really wanted a little tiny baseball sized pumpkin too!
Sunflower with bee included...
BEE!
(How freakin' sweet is my camera..right...you can see the little pollen buds and everything!?!)
Next on our fall adventures we went to the
CORN MAZE!
(Or the CANDY CORN MAZE, which is what Aydan called it!)
We went to the one in Shelley. It was cut in honor of the Boy Scouts of America!
It was super cute, and Aydan just thought he was the coolest for finding our way out...all by himself!
Cute boys in the MAZE!
Seriously...I couldn't resist taking a picture of this...
Aydan made hand prints in the very dusty dirt!
The boys and I...mazin' it up!
THEN...we got to go on a tractor ride...in water barrel seats!
Jenny and Traceon!
Aydan LOVED this....
It was sure bumpy, but well worth it!
Then we headed down to the
PUMPKIN WALK!
I just think this is the cutest thing ever! This year they had some awesome themes! SO FREAKIN' CUTE!
DISNEY!
PETER PAN!
DISNEY PRINCESS'S!
HARRY POTTER!
CUTE KIDS!
ASTRO BOY!
BUMBLE BEE!
THE LITTLE RASCAL'S!
(My fav this year!)
WIZARD OF OZ!
ALICE IN WONDERLAND!
(See the red roses on the trees!?)
*******************************************************
So I am like the PROUDEST MAMA EVER!
Just wanted to share a few reasons why....
TRACEON just turned 11 months old! I can't believe he's almost a year! I'm working hard at getting plans together for his big BASH....cause you only turn ONE once!
This little man is just so amazing! He brings me joy everyday!
He is saying quite a few words...and grunts for things!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
is for Aydan.
"MAMA!"
"DADA!"
"OH!"
(He says this when he's getting a lesson from mom on not hitting, or yelling, or throwing a fit over nothing.)
He is super close to saying "All Done!" and "Uh-Oh!" and "Up!" But they're weird grunts, in the right tones...but not yet words!
This kid is just so happy all the time!
Also a little update on his eyes:
Went to the doc last Monday...says Trace might have to have a second surgery. : (
But he is still really optimistic (which makes me really optimistic) about Trace figuring it out on his own. His brain is just working on seeing straight...it takes awhile I guess. He is still WAY better than before his first surgery, and his eyes are straight about 30% of the time I would say...so I'm thinking positive, and if he has to have another surgery, it's not the end of the world...
Second surgery won't be until Jan or Feb...we're going to give the little guy some time! ; )
Here is he getting a bath in the SINK!
And having way too much fun...I might add!
Another PROUD MAMA reason is
TRACE IS WALKING!
He took his first steps about a week ago, and now is walking all over!
It is almost he first choice of getting around!
ON THE GO!
The first video is of his first few steps, and the second video is of his walking skills last weekend!
Aydan has been cracking me up lately with the stuff that comes out of his cute little mouth!
He is just so dang SMART! I always right the cute stuff down and put it into a word document later, so I have it all written down, so we can always remember the cuteness! I thought I would share some of this past week's thoughts and words from
AYDAN MYCHAL POLSON:
"Trace can borrow my blankie."
(So sweet!)
"I can rake the leaves with my back scratcher."
"Let's go get some more pinedale's!"
(Pinedale is the town my grandparents live in, Aydan is referring to pine cone's!)
"I have beef turkey stuck in my teeth!"
(Referring to beef jerky!)
"Can I hang you up?"
(Asking if he can hang up the phone!)
"I want you to have snowflakes for breakfast!"
(Referring to cornflakes of course!)
"Do we need nutbag?"
(Giggle, giggle.....referring to nutmeg!)
"Everyone wants to be a JUICE BOX HERO!"
(Aka from the song JUTE BOX HERO!)
Me asking him, "Why do you ask so many questions?"
Aydan's reply, "Cause that's why I have a mouth!"
He also pointed to a jet plane and said, "Mom look at that awesome shooting star!"
Oh! I can't get enough of him! He's just so dang cute!
We made daddy a Halloween box this week full of pumpkin cookies, caramel apples, pretzel dipped in caramel and chocolate, and popcorn balls!
Aydan also painted a cute little pumpkin for daddy!
Aydan also made a Halloween necklace to sport around! He worked very hard on it!
I had to post this pic of the treats we sent to daddy cause the caramel apple on the left got fingered big time by some little hands who could not resist! CUTE!
I love my life! I'm so incredibly blessed!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! My sis is coming with her boyfriend Ryan...plan is to carve pumpkins! AND....the weather guys are threatening the S-WORD is going to happen...so bundle up!

Your pumpkin patch excursion looks like so much fun! I'm excited to take Ky this weekend! And the pumpkin walk.....LOVE IT! I think we may go there on Halloween like previous years!
That's good that your doc wants to give Traceon some time before another surgery. Some would just do it without giving the little one a chance to work it out....cause ya never know...maybe by then he won't need it! All of Aydan's little sayings are so cute! What a funny kid!
Aren't the Halloween necklaces so fun? Ky made one a few weeks ago and had a good time! Good for the fine motor skills too!
That pumkin patch looked like soo much FUN! That picture of Aydan watering the corn is AWESOME!! gotta love boys!)
How exciting Trace is walking, I can't wait to see him!
Oh and thanks for making my mouth water those carmel apples look DELICIOUS! I'm sure Justin loved them! Can't wait to see you guys!!
How fun at the pumpkin patch. That's so fun for little ones! Our babies seriously do everything at the same time! Kaylee finally started walking too! SO much more fun now, huh? I love the things Aydan says. It's so funny the things that go on in their heads.
Sam, I love your post. Your boys are too cute! How funny is Aydan! I laughed. I wish I would have known about the pumpkin walk... if that was around IF somewhere! There was such a cute one in Logan last year. Sorry about the background thing, looks like you got it figured out tho!! I'm not sure that I had to do anything different than usual. But for font colors you go to design, then template designer, and click advanced on the left hand side! Have a fun Halloween with your boys!! :)
