Happy Valentine's Day!
I sure hope everyone's day was as GOOD as mine! And...added bonus...it's 6pm...and it's STILL light outside! It means only one very important thing...
SPRING IS NEAR!

Well I guess I'll start with preschool pics from Friday!
I got to Volunteer that day. Aydan got to exchange Valentine's with all of his friends. They made little heart-shaped packets to hold their gifts. How cute...

Here our what Aydan gave to his friends. We took pics earlier in the week, and I made these for him to take to school. He is so cute...he'll melt anyone's heart!

Valentine's Day 2011
Happened something like this...
We woke up, had breakfast, and then went on our traditional
V-Day Treasure Hunt!
Aydan LOVES this little game! Here he is with the first clue!

Trace even got in on the hunt!
Last one (there were about 15 more...but you get the idea)...
"What the heck?" "What is our Valentine's doin' cookin' mom?" Is exactly what Aydan's response was...
It took them a few minutes of looking to figure out what they got...
Which was
COWBOY STUFF!
Aydan totally got into character...as you can imagine those of you that know him well!
He even tipped his hat...
This one...well he did not enjoy dressing up as a cowboy very much...
But, he did enjoy the Valentine's balloons!
Later, I made homemade playdough...and we made some fun heart-shaped keepsakes!
The boys put their handprints into a hear made out of playdough, and I baked them! They turned hard and are going to be a fun decoration in our home for years to come!
For lunch we had grilled cheese with ham and tomato basil soup! I cut the sammy's into hearts!
We also made a GIANT heart-shaped cookie!
What a fun day!

Valentine's day is so fun! You did some really cute things with the boys. The Valentine that you gave us was really cute! Awesome pics of the boys too! Holidays are just so wonderful with kids, don't ya think?!
Oh and YES I have been so stinkin' excited about this nice weather we have been having! I am SO READY for Spring! I just hope the weather isn't teasing us! We are DONE with winter!
