Hi!
So this past weekend we were going to Boise to visit Aunt Melanie, but it didn't pan out, so we did some other things instead. Before I tell you how we are "driving our winter blues away" I'm going to talk about
TRACEON PARKER!
Little Boy Blue is 15 months and so stinkin' funny! The faces, the words, the sounds, the fits, the smiles, the giggles...all too fun!
New words are, "NANA"(banana), "NINI"(night night), "ALL GONE", "SHHH", "DIAPA"(diaper), and "YES"
He is showing more and more imagination every day. He pretends to cook (giving lots of bites)! He makes little car noises as he drives around cars. He also makes "gun" noises as he's pretending to shoot! He also pretends to talk on the phone...and is a little thief of my phone. This morning he thought it would have fun scuba-diving in the toilet...might have a new phone in the next couple of days...
He understands SO much more than he can say. I can tell him to do something or ask him a question and he knows what I'm talking about. Like when he poops, I ask him if he went poopy, he says "yes" and nods, and then I ask him to go get diapers and wipes, and he does!
He gives slobbery kisses and very nice hugs!
He sleeps so well, and never fights going to sleep!
He LOVES milk, juice, grapes, bananas, nilla wafer's, gold fish, chicken nugget's, carrots, noodles, pb&j's, pudding, applesauce, sweet potato fries, and anything with sugar and HATES tomatoes, broccoli, and ketchup!
He loves to read...only when he gets to hold the book!
He loves to rock-a-bye!
He loves the vacuum, broom, and swiffer!
He loves helping me fold laundry!
He loves talking to daddy on Skype! He gives daddy lots and lots of needed kisses!
Him and his blankie are best friends!
He has turned into a little monkey, and climbs on everything! I forgot that they get smart enough to maneuver around the obstacles you put up, so they don't get into stuff!
He is all around mommy's bud! He follows me around all day! He is always giving me loves and is so calm and happy!
Trace fell asleep for a nap reading with mommy...
"MOM, Traceon's lookin' on the Internet!"
Is what Aydan yells when he see Trace doing this...
This little boy climbs into our big bathtub, then climbs on the edge of the tub, then climbs onto the counter, to get into stuff! This happens when I'm in the shower...
Too cute I tell ya...

Aydan and I went on a date on Saturday! I always LOVED when I had my parents to myself when I was little and I've always kept that in mind with our children. I think it's important to make sure that they feel important and special by doing something for them that is just for them. So Aydan wanted to see a movie...
GNOMEO and JULIET
was AWESOME! Aydan picked out the best seats in the house and had a grand ole time with his rainbow candy, bucket of popcorn, and slushy!
He laughed so hard at this little guy....
Mommy and her date! Best 4 year old EVER!
Aydan also thought the little gnomes with the hats over their eyes were hilarious...

MONDAY we totally went o BLAST OFF!
It was awesome! The kids loved every minute!
Aunt Jen came too!

Traceon sure is a cutle little dude! He really is gettting big fast! I love to see all these little guys playing with their brothers! Just melts your heart, doesn't it?

So cute! I love the age that our babies (can I still even call them that?) are! How fun to go on a date with your little boy! I bet he absoultely loved it.
ha ha ha Traceon doesn't like tomatoes! I love it! Seeing these two grow up makes me wish I had a "do-over" with you & Melanie...I would do it so much better. Thanks for sharing all the pictures and videos.
hahaha!! that video is so adorable!! i love his little giggle!! you're the best mom sam! no surprise though. I can't wait until harv can have a little more communication like that!! I need to come visit too when i'm in town.... which is NEVER!! but i need to make it happen.

That is so cute that you and aydan had a little date. Ellie and I had a girls day and we saw the Justin Bieber movie. She is in love with him and she is only 4! The video of traceon is so funny. He is so stickin adorable!
