Wrapping Up the end of February!

This is my last post for the month of February, so I thought I'd update on a few things we've been doing to keep ourselves occupied during these long winter days!
Saturday February 18th we threw Stephani a baby "Sprinkle" in hopes to help them prepare for their
Little Girl!
I had fun making the "Tickled Pink", "Welcome Baby Girl" banners, cupcakes and cupcake toppers, as well as all the food labels! It was weird, though....a lot of PINK was going on! Ha! Ha! I had trouble picking out outfits for the little one...I wanted them all! I also made her little headbands that matched the outfits I got for her to wear during the Summer! Hopefully they'll fit!
We're excited for them and can't wait to meet her in a couple of weeks!

Some of the girls at the Sprinkle!
Gayle, Me, Dani (Steph's mom) Bryci, Laura, Kaylee, Stephani, Kelsie, Jennifer, and Olivia.

See, I told ya....A LOT of PINK!

That same weekend we had Mitch Slayden stay with us! He's one of our good friends! While he was here we had some more friends over for a WINTER BBQ! It was so much fun! We really LOVE all those guys!

Jen and her boyfriend Matt came over too! Trace was being silly with Jen!

Josh Clark, and Brennen and Kalauni Bradly!
We were all giggling at Aydan-Bug, who was being silly at taking our picture!
Kalauni, Brennen, Mitch, Me, Justin, Chelsea, and Benny!

Monday, (Presidents Day) Justin didn't have school, so we decided to take the boys to STAR WARS in 3D! They LOVED it! Tra kept saying, "I want fly in car!"
It was so amazing! I was pleasantly surprised to see all that they could do to make it in 3D since it was not filmed/made 3D!

This last week we helped my Dad and Jerri move in to their NEW HOUSE! Yes, it is finally finished, with minor "finishing touches!"
The sunset was so pretty the first day they were in their new home.

Got a quick pic of the grand kids out front! They love their house! There is so much space to RUN AROUND!
Look at this handsome lug..........I wish I could kiss him all day every day...........oh wait.............I DO!
I don't have many shots of their entire house but here's their living room fireplace upstairs! Yes, that is a picture of Yankee Stadium!
To celebrate their 1st night/day in their new house we had PIZZA! No chairs or table though....the kiddos didn't mind one bit eating on the floor!
Tommie, Aydan, and Trace reading a book on Gma and Gpa's new couch!
Here's a shot of the kitchen!
We are so happy for them! It's been a really long progress, and I think we're all glad to reap in the benefits FINALLY!

Friday night Justin and I went to the movies AGAIN with some of our friends! We went and saw "The Act of Valor." It was SOOOOO good...as almost every true hero story is! I bawled so much my pants and shirt were soaked! It's about a Special Forces team in the Army. Maybe it hit home to me, because now I truly understand the sacrifices the families of our military people have to go through.
I loved this movie, and all I could think about was, "HOW COME WHITNEY HOUSTON IS ALL OVER THE NEWS?" She was not honorable. She had a wonderful gift, and threw it down the toilet by being weak and dishonorable. She is not a hero. What did she sacrifice? Real heroes should be on the news, and in tabloids. Being honored and remembered. Yes it is sad that she died, but what for? For her own selfish greed and addiction.
Yes it is sad that these WAR HERO'S died, but what for? HONOR, OUR COUNTRY, FOR THEIR TEAM, TO SAVE LIVES OF INNOCENT PEOPLE!
Come on peeps, enough with Whitney....she's a sad excuse for our awful media, and it's intention to make you interested enough to buy into it.
Anywho.....

Sunday was Cru's Birthday Party at the Idaho Falls Gymnastics Gym! It was so much fun playing....well mostly jumpin' around!
Here's Trace on the long tramp!
Justin on the "trick" tramp! He was bustin' out back flips big time!
The birthday boy in the foam pit1
Aydan-Bug swinging from a rope into the foam pit!
Daddy helped Trace on the balance beam!
PIZZA and POP!
We got Cru a "minion" shirt from the movie Despicable Me!
Happy Birthday and Make a Wish!
Cake!
Happy 7th Birthday Cruzer! I can't believe you're 7 already! Seems like it was just yesterday when you were a cute rolly polly baby boy!

Until next time peeps!

My Sweet Valentine's....

For the past 14 days I have been doing something "lovie" for Justin everyday. I found the idea on Pinterest, and sure as mud, thought it was cute enough to copy for my hubby!
He really thought this was fun! I hid all of his items, so he would be pleasantly surprised when he found them each day!
Here are a couple of my faves....

In return...I got surprised with an Orchid!

Monday February 13th, Aydan had a PJ Party at school! Here he is with his baseball jams on...and even a robe!
So when I went and got him from school, all the kiddos came out with heart shaped bags, filled with Valentine's and a BALLOON! How fun huh?
My biggest fear with candy is, letting the kids eat way too much that they're sick.
So on the way home (it takes about 15-20mins to get home from Aydan's school depending on traffic) I DID NOT let them have ANY candy.

When we got home we broke the school candy as well as all the Gma's and Gpa's candy Valentine's out.
Seriously...5 mins later after I took this pic...
Traceon VOMITED everywhere! I was like "WHAT?" I barley gave him any candy! I took that candy right away, then Aydan started to complain about his tummy! A couple of hours later the
 PUKE
was a flyin' up in here! Man, I have never seen projectile vomiting like I did on Monday! It made me very thankful for having hardwood floors, although they were only hit once. It seemed the barf only wanted to hit hard places to clean, like the rug, couch and chair! My poor babies threw up so much that I couldn't even keep up with the laundry! I had them stay the night on our bedroom floor. I literally slept with one eye open! It was a long night. Poor Justin woke up at about midnight sick also!
This was basically our Valentine's Day....

I had a Valentine's Day Treasure Hunt planned (like I do every year) but I was up to my elbows in vomit, and didn't have time to do it. So I just set up my fun Valentine's for my sweetie's while they were taking a nap!

It was STORE stuff! I think they liked it! We have been playing store ever since! It cheered them right up!

I also got the hubby and I something....and was used a lot on our Valentine's Day!
I had to run a few errands that afternoon, and while I was out I got my boys JAMBA JUICES! And also decided that we would make homemade pizza for dinner, since they were feeling better!
They LOVED playing/rolling/shaping out their dough!
 Oh, and tossing it!
We even put cheese sticks in the crust for some "STUFFED CRUST!"

The boys with their finished Heart-Shaped Pizza's!

It was my first time making homemade pizza dough that I actually LOVED! I even made homemade sauce!
I also made Strawberry's dipped in chocolate and covered with SPRINKLES! YUMMO!

Here is the boys and I playing store!

It has been a sad couple of days, but everyone is back to normal, but most importantly I DIDN'T GET SICK! It must mean I wash my hands! Ha! Ha! Just kidding! I'm glad I was not sick because I needed to take care of my boys, and doing that while sick is almost impossible! And...it had nothing to do with eating too much candy!
I love them and taking care of ALL of them is what I do best, even if it means being covered in vomit, and washing it off walls at the same time!

Hope your V-day went a little better than ours!
