Whew...A Busy Weekend...Full of Events!!!

Friday night.... my sister and I went to one of our friends from High Schools wedding reception. She was a beautiful bride to be...(they were actually getting married in the morning.) It was fun to see her again....and she is just as she should be...the same old Liz!!

Saturday morning....Justin dug himself a hole!!! Art needed some help digging this huge hole, and we thought it would make a funny pic, just seeing Justin's head sticking out.


Aydan of course stripped down and ran through the sprinklers. It was intensely hot and humid on Sat....who could blame him?? Too bad we can't get away with stuff like that huh??

Saturday afternoon....Justin volunteered to run in the Spud Mud Run at Summer Fest this year. The Mud run is usually to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation, but this year the fundraiser was for a little girl. This particular little girl has throat, esophagus, stomach, and intestinal cancer, and the doctors are thinking she doesn't have much time left....So the fundraiser was to raise money for her and her family to go to Disney World!! She was so cute and very grateful for everybody who ran for her. She gave them all big hugs at the end of the race.

Justin's team was the last to get started in the race, but the first to finish...(of course!) They got a big trophy and metals at the end. The run was 5 kilometers long, and they had to run through mud, climb over corrals, run through the sand dunes, jump through the canal, and then they got hosed down by the fire truck hose. They all had to carry a spud as well...without losing it.

I was taking pictures of my boys, when this nice old man came up and offered to take our picture. How nice huh?


We ended the night with FIGHT NIGHT! UFC stuff again....Some of my dads friends invited us to come over to their house, where they had a big screen TV outside to watch the fights on. It was pretty fun! They had good food, comfy chairs, and a yard where Aydan could play. Thanks for hosting guys!!!

We are so ecstatic to be having another little boy. How perfect is that? Aydan and Traceon are going to be the best of buddies!! And yes...we have decided on..........
Traceon Parker Polson
(pronounced trace-en) for his name. It's not going to change so we thought we would just tell everybody now!! Plus we LOVE it! We are going to be even more busy...but it's going to be so much fun!! Can you image all the sports and activities we will be doing!!! We can't wait for this little guy to get here!!

Everything looks pretty good. Traceon is doing very well...growing as he should be and exactly perfect!! I however...have a blatter infection....YUCK!! There is also some concern about where the placenta is. It is a little close for comfort to the cervix, but doc says it's common this early, especially in women that have had c-sections before. We will just have to do more ultra sounds as my pregnancy develops to see how it's doing. Which on the bright side...it means we get more beautiful pictures of our growing boy.


This picture is my favorite. It is of his cute little legs. They are crossed. How precious is that??

Daddy's Home and We Had a Great 4th of July!!

Yay!! Daddy graduated from Air Assault School!! Justin just got back on the 4th from Fort Bennings, Georgia. While he was there he went through 3 phases of testing, drank a lot of water, and reppeled out of a Blackhawk helicopter!! Aydan has a pretty cool and daring dad huh? It has been something Justin has wanted to do for a long time, and he's glad he did it. He said it was the hardest mental and physical thing he has ever done....including Basic Training. He brought home all kinds of Air Assault certificates and a really cool pin to put on his ACU's. We sure did miss him, and we are glad he's back safe.

Hummer's and water trailers can be lifted by Blackhawk helicopters, another part of Air Assault training.

Happy 4TH OF JULY!!

Here is Aydan at the parade Saturday morning. He's enjoying some blue cotton candy.

For the 4th of July, Aydan and I went to the parade w/ Grandpa and Grandma Snyder, as well as Dan, Keri, and their kids. After the parade we went and had hamburgers and hot dogs, then it was off to pick up daddy at the airport. Aydan was so excited to see Justin and ran and gave him a huge hug!! After the airport we came home and took naps. At about 7:30-8:00 it was time to go scoop out a spot for the fireworks. Uncle Garrett works at Electrical Wholesale, which has the perfect spot for watching the famous Maleluca fireworks.

Over the past few weeks we've.....

IS THIS LIVIN' OR IS THIS LIVIN'

I am dedicating the title of this post to Denise Coleman. She said, "Is this livin', or is this livin'?" about 5o times this weekend! How cute huh?

We had so much fun...unfortunately our camera died after the first couple of hours we were there. Oh well...

This last weekend we went camping with Justin's boss, (Scott Coleman) and his family. We camped at one of their favorite spots, Dairy Creek Campground in Spencer, Idaho. It is tradition for the Coleman's to go to this spot with their good friends Burt and Mona Taylor. This camping trip was nothing I've ever experienced before. Scott and Denise Coleman came and invited their three kids, Greg, Tresa, and Gary, and they all brought their kids, GK, Tori, and Cooper. Then the Taylor's came with 4 out of their 5 kids, and they all brought their kids....(I'm not even going to try to name them all, the minimum children per family was three...) And then there was us. At one point on our trip I thought...this is the first time it's been loud when I've camped. There was a lot of people... There were 3 campers, 5 tents, 2 trailors, 7 trucks, 2 cars, 5 four wheelers, 4 motor bikes, and a whole lot more! Because of all the comotion it was the first time in a long time where Aydan was a total LAP PUPPY! He did not leave our side. There was just too much to watch and stare at. If he did venture out, it wasn't very far. It was so cute! I have never seen my family so dirty! It rained a lot while we were there, which caused everything to be MUDDY!It was so fun! Baby wipes were my best friend.
Over the course of the weekend we set up camp, ate food, went fishing, caught fish, went on a hike, played in the creek, picked flowers (danilions), dug in the mud, played games, road motor bikes, went on four wheely rides, shot guns, played in the trucks, sang songs, saw and heard cranes, saw a moose, heard cyotte's howling, celebrated a birthday, played with frogs, collected worms, sat by the fire, rosted marshmallow's, froze our butts off at night, talked, joked, and laughed together! We had a blast just livin' the good life, and enjoying it too!!
We are sooooo doing it again!! Thanks for a awesome experience everyone!!

Here is Aydan fishing with Scotty (that's what Aydan called him). Not only was this his first time fishing...he actually caught his first fish!! YAY! The look on Aydan's face when that wiggly fish jumped up out of that water, will forever be a memory!!

Fun Fact: Gary (Scott's son) and Justin have been really good friends for a long time and Gary's wife Kara is expecting as well. She is about three weeks ahead of me. We are so excited to be having kids so close together.

Ever since we got our camping gear...we've been itchin' to go camping. So we decided that for our first camping trip we would go just as the three musketeer's! What better place to start out then Heise Hot Springs? We figured we could swim all day to keep the little guy occupied and then camp afterwards. We had so much fun as a family...as you can see! Check out our SLIDE SHOW!

Aydan loved going swimming! It was the first day of the summer that the outside pool and slide opened up...so it was kinda cold...but it didn't stop us!! (recommendation for all parents of little kids...the swimming suit thing that Aydan has on is AWESOME....pairing it up with the swimmy's gave Aydan the confidence he needed to swim alone, and gave us the reassurance of Aydan being safe. Go and get one!) Aydan loved everything we did...swimming, the slide, jumping off the side of the pool, eating, tenting, building a fire, roasting marshmallow's, playing outside! It was an awesome weekend!!
