The LITTLE MAN!

I can't believe my baby is 4 months already!! He's been such a joy to have in our family! He's so cute and cuddly...I want to squeeze him all day...wait...I DO!
It was just this time last year we were plannning for this little guys arrival!
Traceon had is 4 month doc appointment yesterday and is doing great! But he is officially CROSS EYED. (In case you couldn't already tell by all of his pics!) Trace measured in at 26 1/4 in (90%) and weighed in at 15lbs. 6oz (60%)!! Tall and slenderish!! Doc said that we're going to have to take Traceon to see specialist for his eyes. They are pretty much crossed all the time, so it could be one of three things; one of the four eye muscles is too tight and needs surgery, or one eye is stronger than the other and his body is rejecting his weeker eye, which will require a patch, or one eye doesn't see as well as the other and his body is using the stronger visual one more. All fixable, but it kind of stinks for just a little guy to go through!! Dangit!! There's a specialist down in Pocatello that is recomened, but if we're not comfortable with him we will go to Children's Primary Hospital down in Utah.
Traceon was doing so well at sleeping through the night, until about 2-3 weeks ago. He kept wanting to be nursed more often and waking up in the middle of the night starving! So I asked Doc if that was a sign for more food. Doc said MORE FOOD!! So we are starting him with some rice cereal! Last night was his first time! He was not sure about it at first (I could tell he really wanted to be nursed instead) he cried a little in the begining, and was very unsure about the whole thing! I mixed the cereal with breastmilk to make it a bit more appealing and I think it worked!? After a couple bites he realized it wasn't so bad and then was so smiley and excited, and wanted more and more!! Funny guy!
More milestones, more memories, and such a cute little man!!

CROSS EYED LITTLE BOY!! I think that is pretty close to the cutest thing I've ever seen!!

The poor guy had to get shots yesterday too! Oucheeeeee!! Look at them hams!!

Yum Yum in your little tum tum!! Tasty!

That wasn't so bad after all! I kind of liked it!! CUTE KID!

A Touch of Spring!!

These last few days have been fairly nice out! I feel like we're getting close to SPRING TIME!! But then again, I think it's supposed to snow next week...:(
Sunday night Justin and I decided to go on a walk. It was nice, but still chilly. We bundled the boys up and took off!

Here's the bundled A-bug ready to go!

Look at those blueberry blue eyes!!

Ready to go!
We walked all around Shelley. Justin and talked about everything and enjoyed getting some fresh air! The kids didn't make one peep...I think they enjoyed being pushed around in our new 2 kid stroller! Thanks Dan and Keri!

Monday...it was also very nice! So I took both the boys out for a little while. I had to take Traceon in for a nap, and Aydan threw a huge fit, and it took some negotiating to calm him down so he could come inside while I put Traceon down. After the little man was in a coma...we went back out for 2 more hours! It was so much fun! I got to meet a couple new people and their cute little ones! Maybe Aydan and Traceon will have some buddies to play with this summer??

Aydan rode his scooter and trike around our building about 10 times. He does very good at staying out of the road and on the sidewalk!

We finally had to come in when Traceon woke up from his nap. Aydan wasn't very happy. He was very whiney and he grabbed his blakie and layed on his stomach beside me. After a few minutes, I got up and realized that Aydan had fallen asleep! Whew! A big day of playin' wears a guy out!

CABIN FEVER......IS IT SUMMER YET??

Arrrrggg...I have the hardest time with this part of the winter!! It's sooooo long, and soooo cold....and soooooo dreary!! Although the sun has been appearing occasionaly, which in turn makes the day pretty, but also tricks us to thinking that maybe we could go outside. Then that fantasy is ruined once you step out into the super cold air!! IS IT SUMMER YET???

Anyway...here are some of things we've been up to to by-pass these cold winter days!!

Great Great Grandma Snyder came for a visit. She stayed for 2 whole weeks! It was so much fun to sit and chat with her. She's such a funny old lady! We love her!

It was the first time Traceon got to meet his Great Great Grandma Snyder!
generation pic!!

This stinkin' kid!! He is so funny! He has been taking advantage of me when I'm busy with Traceon (mostly when I'm nursing, because I can't get up right away and chase after him.) Aydan took a blue marker and ran into our bedroom where we have a long body mirror hanging on our bathroom door, and colored away! I came in and laughed, and told him he looked like a smurf....and his response was...."Yeah, I do look like a Smuff!"

We are still struggling at keeping this little man clothed! This was his outfit choice....I personally like the boots! After he dressed himself he told me he was going to work...

Good Grief....this kid keeps on getting bigger and bigger!! He's so stinkin' cute!!

Here is a good experience of Aydan being a super awesome kid while mom was busy with the little brother! I finished nursing/putting Traceon to sleep, and I walked by Aydan's room and opened the door...and this is what I found! CUTE KID!! He set up Woody and Nemo as an audience so he could rock out some crazy tunes for them!! Such an imagination!!

BIG BLUE EYES....who would have guessed?? Traceon LOVES his blakie! I think it's so sweet how little kids have special comfort lovies!!

Another....."Aydan moment"
He is soooooo bored...we need it to be summer!! Aydan took out some toliet paper rolls from under the bathroom sink, tore into into tiny pieces, and blew it around with the blow dryer....claiming that he was making it SNOW!! You might ask...where were you?? I don't know...it takes me a minute sometimes to figure out what he's up to sometimes...he's a little mischevious, as you can clearly see!

Aydan wanted Traceon to snuggle with him in his bed...All Traceon wanted to do was study his hands!!

We totally went to town on finger painting, to keep us occupied!!

Then we tried out the new water colors that some friends of ours sent Aydan to congratulate him on being a big brother! So sweet! They got him this huge basket, packed with awesome toys! Bugs, binoculars, magnifying glass, a ball, flash light, markers, note pads....all kinds of cool stuff!!

Here's the wonderful display of Art on the fridge!! I love it!!

Aunt Melanie sent this wicked sweet straw!! It goes around your eyes and everything!!

We even sent up Aydan's tent and totally went camping!! We took some little friends with us, and Aydan played some of his famous tunes for them!!

Traceon's getting so big! I can't believe in less than a month he will be eating solids!!! His personality has grown! I would say he's a bit on the temperamental side and a bit finicky as to what he thinks he needs to be doing. Which is hilarious to me...he needs to learn to chill! He's super smiley, and way ticklish! He's now starting to grab at things (like my hair for one) and his toys! It's so fun to watch him learn! We love him so so much!

Grandma Chris came for a visit!!!
She was here for 5 days...and got some hard core grandson time in!! Great Grandpa and Grandma Aultman and Aunt Melanie also came for a short visit! Good times, good times! Next time we see Grandma Chris she will be getting MARRIED! YAY!

I took some cute Grandma-Grandson pics...HOW CUTE!

I think we're doing a pretty good job at keeping busy!! We have also been going to the library for STORY TIME! So much fun! Last week we made a flower (or should I say I made the flower while Aydan showed off by jumping off the chairs) and next week is all about clouds!

Happy winter everybody!!

Valentine's Treasure.....

Hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Valentine's Day full of LOVE!

I decided to have a VALENTINE'S DAY TREASURE HUNT for my little valentine's! It was so much fun! Aydan can't quite read...so I took pictures of random things so he could just look at the PICTURE CLUE and know exactly where to go next!! There were HEARTS hidden all over the house with CLUES! In the fridge, under the table, in mom and dad's room....everywhere! It made for an awesome HUNT!! Aydan really got into it! He even had a little TREASURE HUNT MARCH....it was HILARIOUS!!

Here are the LITTLE Treasure Hunter's.....soooo CUTE!!

Here is the begining of the TREASURE HUNT! The first clue was on the TV!
Looking...Looking...Looking...
At last...THE TREASURE!

Chinsy dollar toys are the BEST entertainment!!

Here's Aydan's V-day shirt. It says, "Cupid is my Homeboy"

Traceon's V-day shirt says... "I love Mommy's Kisses"

We also made HOMEMADE VALENTINE'S for all the special people in our lives!! We made HEART SHAPED CRAYONS for all the cousin's, and special cards with the boy's HANDPRINTS in the shape of a HEART, for everyone else!! Aydan did all the writing on the cards...with help of course...except for his NAME...He's learning so well!!

A LOTTA.....

These last couple of weeks have been pretty busy! We've done... A LOTTA...EVERYTHING!!

Enjoy the pics!

Aydan went to the DENTIST for the first time...and absoulutly LOVED it!! He did so good! He really liked the little vaccum that sucks all your spit out!! He was so excited and giggly when we left and said, "Mom I have to brush my teeth so good so no sugar bugs get in them...so I can come back to the dentist and get another tooth brush and dinosaur flosser!" Uh..my kid...so cute! Dentist said Aydan has perfect teeth...and does a good job brushing!!

Aydan in 3D glasses watching a 3D movie...

Traceon is so smiley! He loves to be talked to and he LOVES funny noises...they make him show off those cute DIMPLES!
