Word From the Sand!

So Justin finally sent me a ton of new pics! Yay!
He's doing great, and is finally in a routine! We Skype with him every morning, and it has been wonderful!
Aydan and daddy were even playing hide-n-go-seek on Skype this morning! Aydan was laughing so stinkin' hard...it was good to see them playing together...being silly like usual!

SGT Justin Polson w/ his M-4!
Here he is out playing in the sand with a machine gun...
Isn't he so goooooodddd llllllooooookkkkkiiiiinnnnn'!?

This is where Justin lifts weights everyday...
It's one of Suddam's former palaces!

This is him with some more machine guns...and that truck thing is one of those MRP's.

This is the view from outside his door, where is CHU is!

Playing some more in the sand...just training...don't worry!

This was Justin in the big army plane, flying into Baghdad, from Kuwait!

This is another one of Suddam's former palaces, located by the Baghdad airport.

Skypin' with daddy! He was laughing at me...he said..."I'm half way across the world, and you can only see me through a screen, and you're STILL taking my picture!" Heck yes...I am!

So...on a couple of side notes...

I really really really wanted to make the boys and Advent Calender this year for the month of December! Well, it was the night before December 1st, and I hadn't made one yet, and had given up on the project....UNTIL...I saw this little cutie! It was a link on one of my craft blogs. I was so excited! I had everything to make it already, and it seemed pretty easy to put together so, I totally did it! The boys were already down for the night when I made my discovery, so I didn't have to worry about being all secretive and stuff! In each "muffin hole" there are 2 pieces of candy (one for each boy) and a little piece of paper with an activity to do for the day! How fun huh? Aydan absolutly LOVES this...Traceon does too, just because he knows he's going to get a piece of candy! It is the highlight of the morning around here!
I got all my supplies out and watched a Christmas movie while this masterpiece came together!
I think it's adorable, and it has been a BLAST!

December 1st:
Make Daddy a Christmas Box!

We made him a little tiny Christmas tree, equipped with homemade ornaments, and a popcorn garland!
We totally did Christmas cards too...out of the boys hand prints!

Aydan has been towing a laundry basket around on the back of his trike, and being so cute about it! One night he loaded up a bunch of diapers and said, "Mom, I'm taking all these diapers to people who need them, cause that's what Christmas is all about!" I about DIED....We must being doing something right for our almost 4-year-old to say something to profound! So proud of him, I could burst all over...or melt...

December 2nd:
Play in the SNOW!

I got the boys all bundled, and headed outside, with their new ORANGE sled!

December 3rd:
Make homemade HOT CHOCOLATE!

Oh man....never buy the boxed hot chocolate again....NEVER...make homemade always...it doesn't take very long...AND it's amazing!
Aydan was a very good helper!

YUMO....I'm mean seriously...DELICIOUS!

Trace drank 2 Santa sippy's full!

Whip cream staches!

These two were  being so dang cute (like always) playing together in the Buzz and Woody tent!
They're playing more and more together! It's so fun to watch!

Traceon has been doing this A LOT...it's pretty dang cute!

And...has been going up and down the stairs all by himself...no more baby gate...I got a toddler now!
I figured, when you have stairs in your home, it's a good idea to teach your little ones to go up and down ASAP...so they don't fall down them!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Love,
The Polson Boys!

December 4th:
Go see SANTA!

Ha! Ha! I love these pics...it was hilarious! Aydan was so cute with Santa, held Santa's hand and everything. Traceon however, was not fond of the guy in the red!

December 5th:
Write Santa a LETTER!

I found this really cute stationary at Michael's, and Aydan loved the fact that we could send Santa a letter! He drew a picture of Santa, wrote a couple "i's" "a's" "o's" "n's" and then his name.

This little boy had spaghetti...I'm mean the real stuff...not from the can...and he LOVED it!

A project I've done or need to do...
are these cute Christmas wreaths! They are made out of plastic sandwich bags! Fun huh? I made one for Jennifer's (Justin's sister) house, and plan on making some for Aydan's teachers for a Christmas gift!

December 6th:
Make Christmas Sugar Cookies!

We went over to Aunt Jennifer's house for dinner, and then we made Christmas cookies! They were awesome and Aydan did such a good job! He actually enjoyed it this year!

December 7th:
Wear Elf hats around, and take pictures!

I've been wearing mine around today...but the other elf's...not so much!

Ha! Ha! It was over his face...hims has a small head!

The little treasure's I find....
It's tape around the knobs of our dresser...

Another project!
I helped Jennifer pick out some REALLY CUTE fabric for pillows and curtains! I'm going to help/maybe do all make them! Her new pad is going to look spectacular when it's all decorated!

Happy Tuesday everybody!
Hope every one's week is going great!
