Bringing in the Holidays...and the Year That Justin Comes Home!

Hello my blog followers! Sorry for falling off the face of the Earth for a month, but I'm back! I have so much to share so this is a HUGE post...maybe you should get a drink and a snack before reading.
Just a suggestion.

Well, we finished out our Christmas Advent calander! Here are some of the things we did...

Watched a Christmas Movie...the little guy didn't make it...Aydan's pretending to be asleep.
I got out of the shower one morning...and this is what I found! What a goof.

We made paper snowflakes, and hung them on the windows, just incase it wasn't snowy enough!

We made ice cream in zipploc bags...yes...it works!

He wasn't being paitent...at ALL!

YUM-O!

Aydan made a crown for his dad.

I had Aydan help me wrap presents. I put them all in weird boxes, so they would all look perfect, and so he could wrap some of his gifts without knowing what was inside! I thought it was funny...no, no one got cheese-its, and frozen pizza.

We made a gingerbread village. It was pretty eventful. While we were eyeball deep in frosting and candy Aydan said to me with a sigh, "Mom, this candy is making me eat it."
I was like, "I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL!"

Cute kids in their Christmas JAMS!

Traceon is so smart...he knew that that went in their for it to work. He was so frustrated that he couldn't plug it in. (because of the baby prof plug thingy)

We made Apple Cider Carmels, that were really tasty, but I think I needed to cook them a bit longer, they were really soft! My kitchen smelled like a Apple Candy Factory, and I got too excited!

We went to Justin's family Christmas party at Godfather's Pizza. We had fun eating, talking, and playing on the games there!

I made these cute treats for Aydan's class, for Christmas! They're melting snowmen!

My sister Melanie came a couple days before Christmas, and stayed a couple more days after Christmas. She made both of our parents her famous picture frames. She had to finish them up at our house, and turned our basement into some kind of lab! It was too funny, so I had to document it! The frames were so awesome, so I guess all of the added work was worth it!

We made these cute cookies for my step-mom's family's Christmas party!

Aydan, and all the cousin's playing musical chairs!

Trace and his blankie...

Playing the "Stuff as many balloons as you can into Santa" game!

Poor Aydan  was so confused at why he had to sit on 3 Santa's laps....I told him that these guys were only Santa's helpers, because the real Santa was way too busy getting ready for Christmas. It seemed to work. He stopped asking questions, like, "Why does Santa look different this time?" and, "Why did Santa wear lipstick on his nose this time and not last time?"

Santa even brought me a little gift! I asked him if he could bring me my husband home...he said he would work on it.

Trace wanted nothing to do with Santa...and ran!

Christmas Eve I let the kids open 1 present, which were cute jammies!

Then Christmas morning came, and Santa brought all kinds of stuff!

My step sister made this little rocking chair for Traceon. He LOVES it, and knows it's his, because he doesn't let Aydan go near it!

Aydan got this little remot controll helicopter, that didn't make it through Christmas day. Good thing I bought the warranty!

Gift tags!

We went out to celebrate with Justin's family. Aydan got hand cuffed by Grandpa Polson.

Kylar loves to wear glasses...so cute!

Traceon was giving Collin loves...

Then, we finally made it to Pinedale, where Santa left all kinds of fun stuff for us! Yeah...2 or more Christmas's wasnt' going to fly with the 4-year-old who knows EVERYTHING...and is already questioning Santa! It was a long Christmas day, but fun!

Deer came and had a snack in Gma and Gpa Aultman's backyard!

We of course had to make POPCORN BALLS, cause it's tradition!

We went swimming at the Pinedale REC Center. It was fun, and the kids loved it!

Traceon got to eat all of his meals in this 100 year old high chair!

Traceon played in a box, and Papa Dennis pulled him around for a fun ride!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We had an awesome Christmas and were very spoiled! A very Happy Birthday to the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ!
***********************************************************

New Years Eve we went out to Gpa Polson's to celebrate! All the cousin's were there and we had a blast! I bought POP ROCKS, 2011 GLASSES, PARTY HATS, NOISE MAKERS, and SILLY STRING! The kids really enjoyed it I think...

Aunt Jennifer got all of here nephew's matching Firetruck jammies for Christmas! We of course HAD to take pics!

I made Jessica these picture frames for Christmas!

Both the boys stayed up until midnight...to bring in the year that daddy comes home!

Happy New Year!

New Year's Day we had the Polson clan come and Skype with daddy on the big screen downstairs! It was so fun, and Justin really loved getting to see every body and all of his cutie nephews! I made cinnamon rolls and breakfast hash for everyone to eat while chatting with J-Man!

Later, we went back to Gpa Polson's and Jennifer made cupcakes in her baby cakes maker!

The big boys got to go on a sled ride behind the 4-wheeler!

Waiting paitently for Uncle Garrett, and Uncle Derrick!

Weee!

Yes, that blue blob is Aydan. He got a turn riding on the 4-wheeler!

Ha! Ha! He was so cold....but well protected!

Traceon had fun watching out the window at all the action. Maybe next year bud!

Don't worry Justin, I'm pretty sure that the kids got roughed up enough while the Uncle's were in town!

We had a great Holiday Season, filled with lots of entertainment and fun!

Wow, that was a busy holiday. Looks like you had fun though! Your boys are so cute and getting SO big! And I did that same thing with the wrapping presents in different boxes for Christmas. Bryci opened an Easy Mac box and ran to put in back in the cupboard before she saw what was inside!
