Our Anniversary!

I hope years from now I feel the way I feel right now. I hope I remember as time goes by, that we have held our heads high, and that we have always believed in us. I want to show everyone that our love is not because we were young. Not because of Aydan. Not to prove anything. But, that it is ours. A rarity. A true life reality fairytale. Our marriage is based on our value for eachother's being. We not only like eachother, but we cherish eachother and our relationship. I think that's why it's so great! ; )
I always want to treat our relationship/marriage like new.

Through all that we've been through, through all of our memories, I am just grateful that I am the lucky one, who adores her husband, and can't get enough of being married to him!

It's funny that in this year of our marriage, we've only been together for about a month of it....

Tuesday morning I put in our wedding video for the kids to watch...okay and me...and Aydan's comment was,

 "What's with all the kissin' and huggin'?"

Ha! Ha! He's so funny!

My dad and stepmom were thoughtful of me and totally took us and the boys out to dinner on our Anniversary. We went to Leo's!

Then we went to their new house to look at the improvement....

Pretty good day.

Justin wrote me the sweetest email that made me cry and cry. He quoted a letter that John Adams wrote to his wife when they had been away from eachother for a long time. He's so patriotic ; )

"My soul and Body have both been thrown into Disorder, by your Absence, and a Month of two more would make me the most insufferable Cynick, in the World. I see nothing but Faults, Follies, Frailties and Defects in any Body, lately. People have lost all their good Properties or I my justice, or Discernment.

But you who have always softened and warmed my Heart, shall restore my Benevolence as well as my Health and Tranquility of mind. You shall polish and refine my sentiments of Life and Manners, banish all the unsocial and ill natured Particles in my Composition, and form me to that happy Temper, that can reconcile a quick Discernment with a perfect Candour".

Romantic huh? I loved how they talked back then.

Only a few more weeks, then he will be safely in my arms again! We plan on going to Jackson Hole in the fall to celebrate, but it will be completely gorgeous with all the fall colors and stuff!

My dad and stepmom got us this card,
