Utah, and the Uproar Tour!

So through the end of September and 1st of October we went down to Utah! We wanted to see our cute little nephews that live in Tooele...oh and Derrick and Jess! We also had tickets to see the Uproar Tour in Salt Lake City!

We had an awesome week! We went out to eat, fishing, shoping, to the Discovery Center, watched Dillon play soccer, rocked out, and played and played hard!

The boys had such a good time! Dillon has lots of cousins that live close, and were able to come play with Aydan and Dillon, which made it really fun! There was a lot of imagination going on!

All the kids were playing outside one day and I decided to go and sit where they were playing. Aydan came up to me and said, "Mom, can't you go sit somewhere else?" "This is where we're playing."

Yes. Yes indeed. I got kicked out of playing.

I didn't take ANY pictures of them playing outside or inside! Shameful, I know, but I did take pics of the boys at the Discovery Center!

One night we decided we wanted to go to Red Lobster for their SHRIMP FEST! It's all you can eat shrimp for $15! Well Derrick and Justin got in a contest to see who could eat the most shrimp! We were there for about 3 hours when they finally gave up!

Derrick: 125 shrimp

Justin: 155 shrimp

Needless to say...they were pretty sick afterward, and probably don't want anything to do with shrimp for awhile! Fun stuff!

SHRIMP FEST IS ON!

While we were watching the dads' throw back shrimp, our little ones did pretty good at occupying themselves. Dillon especially. He was in his own world for awhile, and it was so funny! We could not stop laughing! Luckily I got some of the action on film! Check it out...and pay attention to when he pops back into reality! So cute! I just LOVE HIM!

Here are some pics of when the boys went fishing! Aydan caught 4 fish! Poor Dillon didn't catch any! Don't the fish know that when little boys are fishing that they need to be caught evenly???

In all Aydan's pictures from the fishing trip, he looks, well, like he's not having fun. So I asked Justin if he had fun at all and Justin said HE HAD A BLAST! He said he was laughing and thought catching 4 fish was awesome because he is 4 years old. So don't let his face confuse you! Ha! Ha!

So on October 4th Justin and I went to the Uproar Tour with our friends Benny and Chelsea Miralas! We met up with them and had lunch at the Olive Garden and headed to the Rock Concert which was held at the Usana Ampa Theater in West Valley. It was a beautiful day! The music and people weren't for me, but JUSTIN HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME! It was fun because he was having fun!

We had a great trip and it was fun playing at Derrick and Jess's house!
