A lot!

We've been up to
A LOT
these last few weeks!

After the coast, one of Melanie and I's friends got married here in Idaho Falls!
It was fun to see Amber Roisum and her new husband Ben Biddolph together with their little girl Kimber! They had perfect weather and really pretty decorations!

Melanie, Amber, Ben, and I!
********************************
The week before school started we built the boys a fort in their room. They slept in it for a couple of nights!
Cutie's! Yes, Aydan's eyes freak me out! He is dead asleep though!
********************************
We started a mini garden of 3 different kinds of tomatoes and 1 kind of cucumber! It has been great having fresh tomatoes and cucumbers to snack on!

On to the Wee Little One!
Baby is big and healthy and just perfect! I went in a few weeks ago for my first appointment!
I was super excited because I was going to get to see baby on the ultrasound machine! Honestly baby FREAKED ME OUT at first! Here's why:
I went into the ultrasound room with the tech. She was in there with what seemed to maybe be a friend. Well they were chit chatting between the two of them while the tech rolled the doppler device over my tummy. The moment I saw our little one, I realized how completely nervous I was! I was not impressed with the tech and how she was talking about old memories instead of telling me what she was doing and what we were looking at. Grrr....
I don't know if I can say I enjoyed looking at our baby (at that point), because BABY WAS NOT MOVING AT ALL! As far as I could tell anyway. Finally after several minutes of clicking and chatting about the last time the tech and her friend were together, I ASKED.
"Ummm, so is everything all right? I mean what are we looking at?"
Completely nervous....BTW.
Her response:
"Oh honey, I know you know that we're looking at your baby!"
Well duh...YOU DUMB TECH! Oh I was furious.....How dare she talk down to a worried mother!!!!
Me:
"Yes I know, but baby is not moving."
Her:
"Well here, what's this?"
Baby's beating heart came up on the screen.
"Baby's heart!"
Her:
"Yes, and baby is probably sleeping, since there is no movement."
Oh okay....thanks for telling/showing me 10 minutes in...
Anyway, she went on showing me baby's brain, spine, belly, then she got a profile pic.
After that she had a hard time getting more pics of the front of baby because apparently baby turned in toward me. But everything looked good and normal! Yippee!
Amongst this time, she asked, why I waited so long to come in for an appointment.
Another "Grrrr" moment with her for me. Honestly guys, I didn't come in right away, because the last time I got all excited about having a baby, it was taken away from me and I was devestated for months. When I found out I was pregnant with this baby, I didn't go a day without the anxiety of losing them. Imagine everytime you go to the bathroom, being terrified of what might come out, or worried that you may have jumped too hard, or ran too fast up the stairs, or wresteled with your boys too rough, or trying to remember if you ate lunch meat before you knew you were with child.............I know it might sound silly, but that is how I have felt all Summer. The more time goes on, and the fact that baby is looking fantastic, has helped, but I might not get over the anxiety until I get to hold this precious little one in my arms! That is how much I want him/her! Of course I didn't tell her that. I just said we were busy (which is mostly true) and it wasn't like I wasn't taking care of myself. I knew I was pregnant 11 days past ovulation.....which is super early, and ever since then I have been taking prenatal vitamins, and staying away from what NOT to eat! May was the 1st month we started to "try" again for a baby, so I was on top of "mommy things" like that!
Then she asked me if I wanted to know what the gender was, and I was like......YES PLEASE!
Baby was in a ball, turned in, and in the breech position. So it was really hard for the tech to get a glimpse. She seemed in a hurry, and assumed it was a girl, because she couldn't see boy parts. Then she moved around a bit, and changed her mind took a pic, and said, "Looks like another boy!"
Gave me tissues, and told me to sit up. She then took the printed pics and looked at them, saying the boy parts were acutally a little big, and might actually be the umbilical cord. She then said maybe in 3 weeks when you come back your baby won't be in breech position and we'll get a better look.
All I could do was say thank you and walk out......but I really wanted to say, "Wait, that was it?" I didn't even get to look for myself....not that I'm an expert, but this ain't my first rodeo!
AHHHHH!
The gender part was so quick, and I think I was in shock at being told it could be a girl or a boy.....isn't that what my chances were going in? Ha! Ha!
I know it was earlier, and I totally understand that the baby was not in a good position, but she bugged. She bugged me badly. And I'm trying not to let my experience with her make me want to change back to my old doctor.
All in all, it doesn't matter to me if I know or if we know what gender baby is. It just helps with the frightening fact that in a few months a living human being will come from my body. ; )
If it is a boy, he is coming in to a home that was just plain MADE for him. 2 big bro's to show him the rope's, a TON of boy's toys, and a Mommy and Daddy that just adore little boys! If it is a girl however, I KNOW how to do girl! And she will be brought up not as a princess that gets everything she wants, but as a strong woman that will be confident in her "GIRL POWER!"
I just didn't like my experience with the tech. : (
But I still love the doctor, and one of the P.A.'s. The P.A. by the way reassured me that is was early, and probably a lot harder to tell what's what in there especially since baby was in such a weird position! She too, agreed that the "boy parts" were a bit big, and said it wasn't the best pic.
I did compare ultrasound pics....though. Aydan and Traceon's "boy parts" look exactly the same, and exactly what "boy parts" should look like. The ultrasound pic she gave me doesn't look anything like the boys'. So my only thing when we go back in is, if it's a boy, to get a clear shot of "boy parts" instead of taking a pic of what "might be" boy parts! And if this little one decide's they just want to come out a surprise, well, that will be just fine with me, as long as I get to hold them in my arms!
Ha! Ha! It might be a fun twist to this little one's story!
Have I mentioned how excited I am to have another baby? Yay!

For Labor Day Weekend we went camping up to Spencer at Dairy Creek Campground!
We went with Garrett and Stephani, and their kids!
Isn't it just pretty!?
I forgot our camera : ( It was the night after the afternoon at the doc's, and I was a bit frazzled! Plus, I have what I call "prego brain" where my brain doesn't work normal, and I blame it on the fact that I'm growing a human!
So some of the pics are off Justin's IPod, and some I stole from Stephani.
Here's our camp set up!
The 4 little boys had a blast playing together! Mostly with sticks and bikes!
I love camping, because Justin cooks almost all the meal on the Camp Chef!
Don't I have the most gorgeous men in my life?!
We went on a Rumplestilskin walk, and the boys got a SWEET fishing pole, and some new bait! No pics though.... and later they went fishing!

This trip we played A LOT of games! It was fun to just relax and hang!
Justin and I were playing Scrabble!
One afternoon we took the boys out on a drive, and let them take the wheel! I loved that as a child, especially on back country roads!
Aydan!
Traceon!
(He didn't really take full controll of steering like Aydan, but nobody needs to tell him!)
Then of course my "gun nut" husband needed to shoot guns!
Then it got nasty.....
And even hailed!
So some of us took cover....
While some of us played in the rain/hail!
It didn't let up, so we hung out in Garrett and Stephani's camper so the boys could watch a movie together!
While we played games!
The next day went the same, and we had another movie/game night!
Traceon!
Aydan with is walking stick!
The last night we were there we could finally have a fire where we could sit by it!
The kiddos got spoiled with another movie, except this time it was outside on the projector!

Cool right?
It was a fun camping trip, and I really enjoyed playing lots of games together!

Aydan's 1st day of Kindergarten was September 4th! We actually got to go to school with him where there was a special scavenger hunt. Aydan learned where to sit, go to the bathroom, get a drink, hang his back pack, and got to know his teacher a bit more!
1st day wasn's so bad! We took Aydan out to breakfast after ( we had to be at the school at 8:00am!) at I Hop!
Tuesday was a little different for me! The teacher didn't want the parents to come in with the kids so they were just to line up outside the front doors of the school. Well as soon as I walked Aydan to get in line, I realized why the teacher might not want parents to come in......I started to cry. So I gave my little guy kiss, took a few pics, and hurried to the truck. I sat in the truck and watched him go inside with his class. By this time I was now sobbing! Oh, he looked so OLD!
This was Aydan on Tuesday.

All lined up!
Wednesday, I cried, Thursday I cried, and when Trace and I got home, Tra said, "Mom, everything's going to be okay." And that made me bawl even more! Such a grown up thing to say from my almost 3 year old! Friday, there was no sobbing, just a few tears, and Trace quickly said to me, as soon as I got back in the truck from walking Aydan to his line, "Mom, please don't cry!" In an almost annoyed tone! Ha! Ha! So cute, and funny! Sorry son, but this mamma is packed full of hormones, and you haven't even seen the last of tears I will shed for you little turds!
Aydan has LOVED school so far! The only thing he (and I really mean WE) are struggling with is getting to bed before 9pm and getting up before 8am! Summer was fun, but now we have responsibility! Aydan has gym on Thursday's, and has a Homework packet. Together we have to do some things at home, and then turn in the packet at the end of every week! This I LOVE! It has things like practice counting to 20, read a book to him, draw and write some things. Luckily Aydan-Bug is Super smart, and can count much higher, and in increments, and can already read me books! So, I'm feeling pretty good about the school year so far! I just can't wrap my head around the fact that we have a GRADE SCHOOLER!
I gave Aydan A Back to School Interview....Pretty funny! The words are a little small, hopefully I can get it into a scrapbook page, and make it look a little better! I got this idea off of Pinterest, and I love the idea of doing it every year to see how the answers change!
 Such a handsome kid!

I made my family take more family pictures. It didn't go as planned, but I got good ones WITH EYES OPEN, to hang up in our living room!
I love this on of the boys! My hair is a little messy....but I'll take messy hair over closed eyes! Trace usually has at least one shut!
Cutie pie Traceon!

Studly Aydan!

Adorable Brothers!

I'm kind of sad that the boys didn't cooperate with this pic....oh well! My baby bump's coming along huh?
*************************
My dad and I took the boys to the fair one afternoon! They loved riding the rides together!

The petting zoo is so fun! Trace fed some animals too,  I just had to help him, so I didn't get any pics of him feeding the cute sheep!

*************************
Sunday we went to my dad's house for a football party! Steeler's against the Bronco's! Good game! It was a little weird seeing Manning in a Bronco's jersey though!
My dad finally has some grass, and it was so fun playing in it!
The tramp was even set up!
 *******************************
Monday was Tommie Lyn's 6th birthday!
Isn't she just a doll?
Excited about some footie jamies!
Opening presents!
Cool Barbie head! Ha! Ha! I had one as a little girl!
A brand new baby!
Happy 6th Birthday Tommie!

We've been busy, and we are super excited about the Holiday Season coming up! And I have a few fun things planned that we are going to do monthly as a family! Thank you Pinterest!

Cute pictures of Aydan! I can't believe how fast these boys are growing up!
Your new family pictures turned out really good! Where did you take them? Looks like a great spot!
Glad to hear everything with the baby is going well! The story with the tech sounds frustrating, but don't let her keep you from having the BEST doc deliver your little one! ;) She's AWESOME! Can't wait to find out if your boys are getting a bro or a sis!
Oh....and camping with you guys again was great!
