The Missing Linc!

Lincoln Ryker Polson

Will be our new addition come February 2013!
Obviously we are going to call him
"The Missing Linc!"

So exciting to have another boy/son/brother!!!
We came up with the name Lincoln a long time ago....even before he was thought of....
and we just LOVE it. Justin has begged and begged and begged and pleaded every time we've had a boy to name him Ryker. Well I have not liked that name, and have said absolutely NOT every time. So this time (knowing that this is probably going to be our last child, and probably going to be a boy) I told JP if it was a boy, that we could have Ryker be his middle name. I'm still not in love with the name, but it sounds pretty fantastic with Lincoln. What a freakin' cool name this kid is going to have! He already sounds like a kid you want to know...right?
Justin just doesn't have the capacity to procreate girls! Ha! Ha! That's okay with me. It just means I'll always be Queen, and I will always have 4 boy's worth of protection!
I don't have any brother's and never had any sort of "boy" experience (no close boy cousins, meaning no boy sport games to be dragged to, and no boy birthday parties to be dragged to, and "boy" stuff like that) until I had my boys. So I'm really enjoying the "boy" side of life!
I picture our food bill ALWAYS being huge, pancake eating contests on Saturday mornings, always having some sort of sport game to get to, and a heck of a lot of broken things from all the wrestling that is going to happen!
I'm game for putting on every kind of Superhero birthday party know to man, playing football in the backyard, and making sure there is always something to snack on!
I hope no one thinks I'm sitting in my house sad, and crying because Baby Lincoln is not a girl. Yeah....no, I'm not that type of person. I kind of had a feeling that it was another boy, and I'm already planning things to make for him, and thinking what he will look like, and am completely in love with him!

I did want a girl more than a boy, but only because we are pretty set on Baby Lincoln being our last child, which means we will never get the opportunity to parent a daughter. But, I am defiantly not disappointed that we're having another boy. Hello? Have you met our other two boy's. Um... they're pretty much the coolest kids I know! Plus this only means I get to be the "Cool Aunt Samantha" to my niece's, and they can come over and complain about their annoying mom's when they're in high school and hate them! Ha! Ha! Melanie....I'm counting on you for some girls! And Justin will never be the dad that's locked up in prison for roughin' up a future boyfriend!

Most importantly, I'M EXCITED for Mr. Linc to be a part of our family! I have a feeling he's going to like us! I know his big brother's are just going to have a blast with him, and he with them!
He will be forever our "Missing Linc" that made our family all the better! I just can't wait to meet him!
Here's his sweet little profile! We agreed that he looks like Traceon ; )
 His cute little foot!
He's growing just perfect, has all working organs, arms, legs, fingers, toes, a brain, eyeballs, and even went pee while we were looking at his blatter and stomach! All he needs to do, is just keep going in the direction he's going! Grow big and healthy baby boy!
The first thing we saw on the Ultrasound machine! Baby Lincoln had his bum straight up this time, so there was no confusion! Definitely a little boy!
So I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Huggins!
I have had some concerns about my due date, being that it is too soon. I have come to this conclusion, because of my knowledge of my "cycles" but we won't go there. Anyway, Baby Lincoln measured even sooner, this time. This worries me, because I don't want to take him 2 whole weeks earlier that he should be taken, if he's just a big baby (doesn't necessarily mean his lungs will be ready). Especially since I will have another C-Section. Anyway, I told this, along with Traceon's birth story, to Dr. Huggins and we agreed together that we will just see how it goes, and I'm going to try and "cook" Baby Lincoln as long as he'll let me (not exceeding the 2 week time frame of course!) January is going to be filled with movies, and snuggles! So there.....we don't really have a date set for this little guy to come, just plan on the end of January or first part of February! I love Dr. Huggin's because she is cool with letting me wait as long as possible to deliver Baby Lincoln, so hopefully he will be my only "smooth delivery" baby! We'll just have to wait and see how things go!

I had to blog about this. My sweet sister sent me a prego-package with a cute handmade card, and a few things to help my pregnancy go a little smoother! It made me cry! I have the best sister ever, and I feel lucky that she and I are so close. Always have been, and always will be. Her card was cute, and made me realize how special it is to be able to have children! I would be devastated if I couldn't, and I feel for all those women who can't! It is such a miracle, and quite a gift from God!
The tank top in the pic, feels like wearing butter. It is the most awesome thing that has ever touched my skin. Belly bands are a must for me, lots of water (drink holder and straws), are important to me, and the movie "What to Expect When You're Expecting" is a must for all parents.
Favorite line in the movie,
"You don't know what true love is, until you wipe some one's butt."
So true....especially the one's where you want to barf.....
Thanks Melanie!
