Ready for take off.....Roger that!

Whew...we had one packed full weekend of countless fun!
I'm still tired...getting up for swim lessons was not an easy task this morning!

1st off...Husby bought me flowers before he went to his LAST DRILL before DEPLOYMENT!
Cause...you know...he's like that...the best
HUSBAND
ever!
************************************************************
This was Friday night after bath time...before bed time.
Traceon looks like he's doing push-ups, and Aydan looks like he's counting/coaching him!
Ha! Ha!
I give the little man about a week before he's crawling on his hands and knees!
Sweetie pie...
Aydan put on one of Justin's ties and told me he was going to get married!
How CUTE!
Then he proceeded to have a conversation with himself in the mirror...
Silly Aydan!
***********************************************************
This is Aydan in time-out....for messing with the sprinkler system...after many chances to listen to me telling him not to do that...
He looks sad...
********************************************
Tub Time!
******************************************************
Saturday night we went to
 DINNER & A MOVIE
with Aunt Jen!
We went to see
Despicable Me
So cute...it was unexpected how the story turned out...which made the movie for me!
I almost wanted to cry at the end.
Just a tear or two...
Then Jen talked me into going to the mall...where I bought a $9 dress....
Yes...$9
A whole dress....
It's for a surprise I have coming up...hehe!

And we had to take pics in the
PHOTO BOOTH!
**********************************************
Sunday we went to the
BLUE ANGELS AIRSHOW!
It was awesome...
Had goosebumps practically the entire time...
Want to ride in one someday....
And we almost melted.....it was so hot!

Aydan, Tommie, and Cru...in a HELICOPTER!
Aydan thought he was pretty cool.
He kept saying, "I want to ride in one mom?"
And I kept saying, "Me too!"
I thought this plane was super cute!
Bad lookin' helicopter...the one's that mean buisness!
Yes folks...this is a woman STANDING on an airplane, while it was flipping around all over the dang place!
This, Ladies and Gentlemen, is FAT ALBERT!
And these are the
BLUE ANGLES!
They were freakin' SWEET!
At one point in the midst of all their tricks, the narrator had us all focused on four of the six jets...getting us all concentrated on what they were going to do...
AND THEN
Two jets swooped in from behind us...low to the ground...like it was WWII!
I screamed...and almost peed...
IT WAS AWESOME!

Justin got his final orders of what he will be doing over in Iraq this weekend....but we can't tell anybody yet.
He also got confirmation as to when exactly he leaves and where to....but we can't tell.
All this army stuff is stressing me out!
But I'm also really excited for my guy!
Remember...Party in his honor...
AUGUST 14th @ OUR HOUSE @ 5!
Invites will be out this week...if you want one...and know I don't have your address...hit the 'comments' button and type it in!

Until next time...

Video....on our Blog!

I finally figured out how to put videos on our blog!
Yay!
The boys got Justin a Flip video camcorder for Father's Day, and we really like it! It's so easy to take a quick little video, plug the Flip into the computer, and then download it into a file! Be expecting a lot of videos (you people who live far away!)
I've been trying to figure out how to make videos and slide shows on our computer. I think it would be awesome to have a video and a slide show on CD's for every year! Mostly of HIGHLIGHTS and the FAVORITE pics/video clips of the year! I love technology! Yes I do!

This video is of Traceon laughing at Aydan, who is throwing and empty box around! The little guy thought it was hilarious! How cute huh?
To watch the video...just hit the play button on the left of the video box! Enjoy!

One word...Blonde!

It has taken me forever to get all caught up on blogging!
So here are some of the most recent...

Traceon turned 8 months last Saturday! He's getting so big!
Lots of things happened for him this month!
He waves 'HI' and 'BYE'!
Says, "Mamama!" and "Dadada!"
Gives GIANT, SLOBBERY, WONDERFUL KISSES!
Started SCOOTING (doing the army crawl) on July 4th!
Sat up 2 times on July 8th (and has done it several times since)!
And he got his very first OWEE!

Trace loves his 'TOT RIDER 2" aka his walker! He loves to follow Aydan around and around! He's his big bro's shadow for sure!
Here he is on the go scootin' like a mad man!
My boys both do the scoot a couple weeks before actually crawling on hands and knees! Traceon's almost there though. He can get up on his toes and hands, and on one knee, but hasn't figured out to use both!
He's a dang fast SCOOTER though! We've been calling him "SCOOT MAGU!"
Here is an up close shot of his 1st OWEE! Aydan accidentally whacked him with a toy while playing! I was garage sell shopping when it happened so I don't know how tramatic it was or not! It is under his right eye.
We love this kid so much! He is so happy and smiley all the time! He puts us all in good moods!
The other night I had on fuzzy slippers and he was sitting right next to them. I wiggled my toes and Traceon would laugh and laugh so hard! It was so dang cute!

Aydan just started SWIM LESSONS this week at the Ammon Pool here in Idaho Falls!
He was so funny the first day! Very hesitant to get in the water. Swim lessons start at 8:30 in the morning, so it's a little chilly still! That and getting in the water with a stranger wasn't easy to take in. But he's doing well and he's in the same class as cousin's Tommie and Cru, which makes it super fun!

Learning how to float on my back!
He's learning how to kick with a kick board in this pic! (Sorry about the fence!)
On the way back home, all bundled, cause it's cold when you get out of the water!
*****************************************
These two are my whole world!
I love them so much! They are awesome kids and I can't be more pround of them than I already am!
They love eachother so much, which is so cool to see!
**********************************************
Aydan just turned 3 1/2 years last week! Yikes....how does it go by so fast!
He is such a joy to our family! When we were broken down on the side of the road last week, he was the reason we were so chipper! His personality just lights everyone up! He's so smart and so inquizitave about EVERYTHING! On Saturday at the Farmer's Market he and I had a converstation about RE-BAR! (It was sticking out of a piece of broken cement.) What 3 1/2 year old cares about re-bar! Not only that he's very curious, but he needs to know the whole story about everything, you can't just go half way with your explinations!

One word.....BLONDE!
Yes!
Went to see Jen about some hair!
Told her to do whatever she wanted!
And this was the result!
I really do love it! I think I look totally different, but I needed a change! I'm not quite sure how long I'm going to stay a blondie, since I am REALLY really a brunette!
Goofy pic...I know...butcha ya gotta know me!
Here are a couple more DIGI-SCRAP pages!

BOISE!

Last Tuesday throughThursday...we'll actually through Friday...yes there's a story there, we went to Boise!
Justin hung out with his friends and went to a CONCERT! The boys and I hung out with my sister, Melanie!
While we were there we went to several parks, even a WATER PARK!

Here's the story of our vist to Boise, Idaho....

Tuesday Melanie and I took the boys to a park near the BSU campus! They both swung in the swings for like 45 minutes! They were mesmerized by the gentle swaying of the swings! It was so cute...but I forgot my camera for that event! :( Then we got Jimmy John sandwhichs' and some movies, and headed back to Melanie's house to hang!
Wednesday we got up and went shopping to a couple of Melanie's favorite stores. I found some really cool stuff for the boys TOY ROOM, and a SWEET picture to go over our fireplace! They were both at great prices! Yay!
After shopping we went and got a pizza and then we went to ROARING SPRINGS water park!
It was awesome and so much fun! Both kids LOVED the water! Aydan had such a blast going down the slides, splashing in the water, and hanging out in a tube!
Oh...here is my new found love...DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING!
I did some pages of our trip to the water park...
What do you think?
(You can click on them so that you can get a better look!)

Here is Aydan's butt crack hanging out! This swim suit was a little big in the waste!
Here is Aydan and I sliding down one of the slides!
Enjoying the sun with my sons....
Between the water and all the sunscreen, Traceon's hair went all curly! How sweet!
The poor little guy had to take a break for a quick nap!
We also went to Settler's Park. It was a huge playground that had water shooting out of the ground and pouring from the top of the toys!
This is Mitch Slayden helping Aydan out!
Mitch and Justin. Mitch is one of Justin's really good friends and this is who he went to the concert with!
Cute Kid!
Justin went to the
Rock Star Mayham Festival
to see one of his favorite bands 'Lamb of God'.
Rob Zombie, Korn, and some other really good bands were there too!
Here he is in his SHIRT!
The guy on the right is the lead singer of 'Lamb of God'!
They had guys on motorbikes doing tricks while the concert went on!
Here is the main stage of all three that were there!
Justin was up front of course!
(I snagged all these pics from Mitch, by the way!)
And now to the MAIN EVENT of our trip!
We broke down between Wendell and Jerome on the way home!
Aydan had to pee so bad that he was bawling so we pulled over, and as soon as we stopped, the truck did too!
It was about 9 o'clock at night and we called my dad to come rescue us, but we were feeling a little uneasy on the side of the highway as huge semi's were screaming passed us! So we called a tow guy to come tow us to Jerome where it was much safer for us to hang while we waited for my dad to come!
It was midnight before my dad, Jerri, and Audree got to Jerome, so we decided to stay the night in a hotel!
The hotel was a little scary. It looked like the ones in all the horror movies where everyone gets murdered!
It was greatly needed though...if we would've towed that night, we wouldn't have gotten home until like 5 in the morning!
Us being towed!
Morning faces!
Here's Trace all wrapped up in the bedspread on the bed. I didn't want him crawling all over the floor...eeewwee....so we kept him on the bed or held him! I thought it was pretty cute though!
So we got up went over to the parked broken down truck...turned it over...and it started! My dad drove it all the way home! It was so funny, we were a little caravan!
What do you know...maybe we needed a little FAMILY VACATION in Jerome!
Funny! And it will make a great memory one day!

Snake River BMX!

Oh man get excited for this POST!

Aydan is racing in BMX races!
We took him out for his first race last Thursday and it was so much stinkin' fun!

Riley and Cru (cousins) race in the races, so we decided it might be fun to take Aydan with his new bike and all!
 BIG WHEELERS!

Cru, Tommie, and Aydan watching all kinds of kids practice before their actuall races started!
CRU
Racin' like a mad man!
Cru is on the left in the blue!
Daddy had to go out and help Aydan up a few hills!
This is Aydan practicing before his actual race
Here are all the little guys lining up to race!
Daddy's giving good luck kisses of encouragement!
Aydan made us so pround, not only for racing, but because he was the kid out there telling all the other kids that they were going to do a good job and giving everyone 'nuckles' and 'high fives'!
There they go!
Racin'
And having so much stinkin' fun!
Coming around to the finish line!
Aydan was so excited and couldn't stop looking at me and everybody...makin' sure everybody was looking at how cool he was!
After the race, Aydan got a trophy...
he hid it behind his back all the way to me with a HUGE smile on his face...full of pride...
and showed it off with style....
Giving NUCKLES!
So PROUD!
How fun is that??
What a good little summer activity huh?
He was so excited and it gives him something to be proud of...that is only his!
Yay for BMX!
